This was the perfect base for our golf trip to Wolf Laurel. Stunning views outside the cabin, but beautiful on the inside as well. Close to the club, spacious, great hosts, we couldn't ask for anything more!
Had a great time celebrating birthdays here. We went skiing, snow tubing, and snowboarding.
Beautiful home. Thank you for the memories we created here. We had a wonderful time.

The house was well appointed. We enjoyed the different sitting rooms and outdoor spaces. The distance to Asheville was not too far. Our family enjoyed the stay.

Great place. Extremely comfortable.
"Great location, close to Asheville but felt like a mountain getaway."
We had the best time! Thank you so much We had everything we needed and then some We even made friends with a pup in the neighborhood. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much! It's the perfect weekend Love the clean house!
"Would like to visit property again! We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - we would recommend. 5-star cleanliness, furnishings and bedding - kitchen was well stocked."
House looked just like the pictures and was very clean - a great location to go do all types of activities. We really enjoyed our getaway here. We loved the place and had a great time in Asheville.
"We really appreciated that this was a new house! We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - we would recommend. 5-star cleanliness, furnishings and bedding."
I enjoyd being here with my grandparents. My granddaughter's perspective (above). House was cozy and we enjoyed hanging here with the grandchildren. Plenty of room inside and the yard was great to play games 7 run around. Overall great trip. Thanks
We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - 5-star cleanliness. We would recommend.
"Loved the house and proximity to town. Felt welcome! Loved the fire pit, sunroom, spaciousness, fully stocked kitchen, spectacular views, the private areas with the bedrooms, and the upstairs suite and bathroom. Very positive experience with Carolina Mornings - would recommend."
"Loved the house! Everything we needed was provided. It was quiet, plenty of yard space. Fire pit was great! The weather was just right to sit outside on the covered porch and enjoy. Would stay again and would recommend to others."
Everything was clean. We appreciated the bath soaps and shampoos and the starter set of cleaners for the kitchen. The house and property were very nice and suited our 5 person group. Everything was clean and in working order. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions to a lovely property.
"We had a great time staying at this property for a family vacation in February. Two grandparents, two parents, and two teens plus one corgi. Our kids loved the hot tub, there was plenty of space to spread out, and the location was very convenient to downtown Asheville."
Zero complaints about this place! Beautiful property!
"What a way to start a new year. Thank you so much for the memories, Moonlight Ridge. The snowball fights were ""epic,"" in the words of our 7 year old. We can't wait to come back! "
"Our family of 8 had a fabulous Christmas together at this home. The home is well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Large living area was perfect for late night movies and games together. Beds were extremely comfortable. Upstairs master is enormous. Hot tub was a nice feature that a few of our group enjoyed. We brought a Fire Stick which was nice to have. Previous posts list the issue with the walk-thru room to the other room. It didn't inconvenience anyone in our party but it is a bit odd and the front bedroom is limited with their privacy because of it. My daughter's 2 dogs really enjoyed the large yard to play in. Even though we were 15-20 minutes from Asheville, we got familiar with the drive and didn't mind it one bit. The grocery store (Ingles) is only a few miles away and had everything we needed. We got take-out pizza from the pizza place in Ingles' plaza our 1st night that was very good! We had 1 rainy day where we enjoyed the pinball arcade & an escape room (Conundrum) in downtown Asheville. We ate at Wicked Weed Brewery and the food was good (beer was even better). Don't miss a morning at one of the Biscuit Head locations. The gravy flight is worth the wait. We hiked Catawba Falls which wasn't too advanced of a hike (a few tough spots). We also hiked Bearwallow Mt. It was a more steep climb than Catawba. It had beautiful views at the top (wish we would have brought a bottle of wine & a snack to enjoy at the top). We ended our trip with an evening at the Sierra Nevada Brewery. The property is fabulous & well worth the drive. Their restaurant is nice but food is nothing special (it was ok). Great beer selection. A few people in the group went to Biltmore and recommended not to miss the winery after you visit the house (included in high-priced ticket...tastings were good). We had such a wonderful time in Asheville and at this property. A truly memorable Christmas! "
"Super clean, close to the city, quiet and spacious!"
Accommodates a lot of people comfortably. Hot tub was a treat. Good bathrooms. Nice view. Great tv. Good location.
A wonderfully maintained and clean property. We would definitely stay there again.
This house was so perfect for our 3 families to get together and enjoy Asheville. We ended up spending more time at the house than the city because it was so great!
"Wonderful time in a wonderful house! We did a brewery tour, visited the Biltmore and did the hop on/off trolley. All great. We would highly recommend the trolley tour to get an overview of Asheville which is a fascinating city. Great house, plenty of room and beautiful views! "
"We were delighted to stay at Moonlight Ridge for our annual get together of college friends. We have been doing a trip like this for over 10 years now, and our accommodations here were among the best we have ever had. We loved hiking nearby on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and we all tried - but failed - to eat a whole biscuit from Biscuit Head. We will fondly recall the sunlight streaming into the house during relaxed mornings devoted to friendship and fun. P.S. - Go Heels!"
We loved everything about this house. It was nice and large and perfect for two families of four. The upstairs master is huge and the bed is so comfortable. The large lot provided so much space for the kids to play outside. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone.
"This was the perfect home for a weekend getaway! This was our first visit to Asheville and had the best time. The scenery / views are breathtaking! We had 4 couples stay here and there was plenty of space. We enjoyed all that this city has to offer from the breweries, hiking, downtown, and the Biltmore. We hope to return soon!"
Our group had an absolute blast staying at this cozy cabin over a three day weekend. The views from the house were gorgeous and the interior of the house was so welcoming. The house was just so nice to stay in! We cannot wait to plan our stay here again for next year!
"Teachers needing a break to take on Asheville! Thank you for having us at the beautiful home! We had a great time exploring Asheville, Black Mountain, and all of Western Carolina has to offer. We had everything we needed to have an excellent stay! #ThisIsMountainWind"
The property was very clean and we had no issues!
"A nice property, nicely tucked away so you have privacy and feel like you are a million miles from civilization but are actually very close to Asheville. Not a luxury home by any means, but very large with a nice open layout and extremely accommodating for 4 adults. Everyone had their own space. Has a great deck with propane fire pit in a covered part of the deck surrounded by woods and views of the mountains which made for great ways to spend chilly after-dinner fella time. Steep driveway, but it is paved with a very large and flat driveway which accommodated our motorcycles very well. Best part about the home was how clean it was - from the linens to the towels to the floors, those details were really nice after a long day in the saddle. Overall, we left very pleased and impressed - I highly recommend. This was also my first time using Carolina Mornings and will not hesitate to use them again."

Very nice property!
The house was lovely and great for large groups (ours had 7). We enjoyed our stay and Carolina Mornings!
Please recognize the Carolina Mornings gentleman (did not get his name) who helped us figure out our TV ON CHRISTMAS MORNING!!! Over the top great service from that guy!
"The home was a wonderful escape from everyday life! It was also very convenient to all of the great hot spots in and around Asheville. If you are into craft beer, there are many local options to try and the wine tasting at the Biltmore is a great way to end your day there. The Blue Ridge Parkway is so close and offers man fantastic walks or hikes of all levels. Enjoy! "
"The location, condition of the home, furnishings were all wonderful - the views from the front deck were awesome. It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved being close to Asheville and Black Mountain and would certainly consider reserving this property again if we should decide to come back to the Asheville area."
The master suite was superb. Location was beautiful & well maintained. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Loved Asheville and would definitely return.
"Our family of 7 loved staying at Moonlight Ridge. The home was beautifully furnished and many of the furnishings had been updated since the photos were taken; which was a pleasant surprise. There was room for everyone and we loved having the large yard for our toddlers to play in and a nice kitchen to prepare meals in. All in all a wonderful stay and I would love to return to Asheville, and specifically in this home."
Our stay was delightful..the house is beautiful and very comfortable.
"Yes, it was AWESOME! Loved the view and great place for a large group."
