If you are looking for to stay in downtown Asheville, the location can't be better. The property was well maintained and clean. Parking can be a little tricky, but nothing too bad. We would happily stay here again.

This property was awesome.We were six ladies.Plenty of rooms for all of us. The balcony was such a joy to just sit back and relax. Everything is conveniently located in the area you can walk everywhere. Only one little blip was finding a garage for overnight. Which we did find called 12 Wall Street. Decently priced for overnight. Will definitely rebook again to enjoy the area.

Stayed there with 5 college friends for a mini reunion. Plenty of room for all of us. Our favorite spot was the patio where we spent mornings for coffee planning our day while our evenings were for drinks and a recap of the day. Loved the location as we could walk to so many places. Place had everything we needed. Appreciated how secure and safe we felt. It was quiet considering we were downtown and we had a group next door. The food court on first floor was convenient and the second floor bar was a nice spot for ending the night. Perfect in every way. Would definitely go back there again!

Great spot. Clean and well furnished in a superb location. The nearest parking garage is very close and you won’t need a car unless you are leaving the downtown area. We had an issue with the lock and someone came out to fix it promptly. Would definitely stay again next time in Asheville.

I invited six friends to Asheville for a two day, two night stay. Everyone loved the Airbnb and several commented on the cleanliness. Since there is no parking for this Airbnb, cars were parked at my house in 5 Points and we planned for a walkable stay and activities. Downtown Asheville offers so many good restaurants and activities/stores that we had no problem filling our days, even though it was a bit chilly and drizzly.

Amazing location for a stay in downtown Asheville - walking distance to many restaurants, shops, museums and things to do. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms makes it easy for multiple families to stay here comfortably and the loft area provides extra space for kids. We had a great stay and would recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay at Ellington Loft, especially the outdoor space. We appreciated all the space (one king bedroom is upstairs in loft), 3 full bathrooms, and starter supplies most places don't provide. The kitchen could use some large skillets, but besides that we had what we needed. Closest parking garage is max $12/day (no in/out). Would stay again.

Six of us travelled to Asheville. Planned to see Town Mountain at The Orange Peel and have some good food. The condo was great. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Only had to drive to see the Biltmore House. Weather was fantastic and we took full advantage of the outdoor balcony. It was wonderful. I’d recommend this property to anyone looking for space for a small group that checked every box.

Fantastic place to stay, everything is within walking distance, and using Lumen Concierge Service was amazing! Lauren from Lumen got our entire shopping list and the place/refrigerator was fully stocked for our entire weekend when we walked in the door leaving us to just enjoy the place and city. This place was great for our group and the outside balcony/terrace was perfect to enjoy throughout the day, and the food hall/taproom downstairs was a great bonus!

We visited Asheville as a family vacation to explore the city, visit the Biltmore Estate, and go on some hiking excursions. Ellington Loft was an ideal location and the apartment was wonderful. It was a very functional layout for our family of 6 adults. The property was very secure and communication with Carolina Mornings was excellent. The nearby parking garage was easy to access. The downstairs eatery area was a bonus with great places to grab a bite or have a drink. Would highly recommend and stay again if visiting Asheville.

We stayed here for the weekend with a group of six old friends and it was the perfect setting. Enough walkability around the neighborhood, but still enough room in the living space and balcony for relaxing together.

I can’t say enough good things about the Ellington Loft space in downtown Asheville, NC. Perfect for 3 couples for a long weekend…and space for other friends in town to also stop by. Planned a long birthday weekend with the family. The property was well-appointed and accurately described and represented by the pictures. The Interior is well-appointed, comfortable, and welcoming. Large balcony area for relaxing. The food court on the first floor was a nice bonus for snack time. Centrally located in walking distance to all the good restaurants and sights in downtown Asheville. We will do this again and come back to this same property.

Our favorite part of this property was the outside deck area. Such a lovely time we shared out there. Morning coffee and evening cocktails! The proximity was within walking distance of everything downtown. We only moved our cars to go to the parkway. So many restaurants and shopping to enjoy so close.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet place in the mountains. It was close enough to all the activities and restaurants that are plentiful in the area. The bonus after a day of hiking and exploring the area was to relax in the hot tub on the porch with a glass of wine. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make us feel at home. The new blacktop drive made it easy to get to the cabin and the blacktop parking area was nice during some of the rain showers we encountered.

Beautiful spot in the heart of downtown! We enjoyed this modern, loft-style unit, & all it had to offer! The balcony was a favorite gathering spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. The building itself (wine, ice cream, a brewery & food court) was an added bonus. If you’re looking for downtown - this is the one for you!

Amazing Airbnb, the pictures don’t do it justice. The outside deck is really lovely and sunny and the place itself is great. It’s also above a food court-type place which is delicious! Would definitely recommend it.

Perfect downtown location! Central to shops, brewpubs, and restaurants. We loved the small food market downstairs, very convenient way to grab a bite or quick beer. Property was central to all downtown Asheville attractions on foot. We had a mother/daughter trip - party of 6. There was plenty of sleeping room, and the property had 3 full baths - which came in very handy for a party of six women getting ready for a day/night out on the town. The kitchen was clean and well appointed. Would highly recommend it!

Came here for a girls weekend -/perfect location in the center of Asheville! Loved the first floor food court with eclectic food options and the brewery in the building that had live music. The rental process was seamless and the unit was very clean. You cannot beat this location if you want to be downtown. Although there is not a designated parking space, there is a nearby garage that is super convenient. I do wish we could have checked in a bit early but I do understand it is a large unit to clean. Great for families!

The property is in a fabulous location within walking distance from all the best restaurants and breweries. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio space in between our touring around. The indoor space is well decorated but a little dark. Needs more lighting. I also suggest providing starter coffee for the first morning. Otherwise great spot.

"This property was perfect. We had two families staying for the weekend and the location was perfect. The lack of parking was a little annoying, but we were told plenty of times about it and there is a garage right around the block. Would have given it all 5 stars except that the property had not been cleaned upon arrival. Once notified, they remedied this while we were at dinner. Will definitely stay there again."

The Ellington Loft lives up to its billing. Our family of four stayed for the weekend and had a great time. We really enjoy the comfortable indoor and outdoor space and that we were so close to all the action in Asheville when we stepped out the front door of the condo. We hope to return.

The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. It was amazingly clean. I did not expect the soap and shampoo. The condo had everything we needed. I would recommend the condo again and if I ever go back to Asheville I will definitely be calling Carolina Mornings! It was a nice, very clean property. The location is excellent for walking all over the city. Great restaurants and active nightlife were close by, it seemed. The balcony is nice but it overlooks and industrial air conditioner, A few things: There are several passcodes to get into the building, the elevator, and then the apartment. They changed the passcode on Friday night, and we tried desperately to reach the owners to no avail. We finally found a separate passcode buried in an email. The check-in with codes should be made clearer. Note that there is a community drum circle every Friday afternoon that goes on for hours. FYI. Public parking in a behind the building.

The loft was great, but parking was a real problem. We had to park a couple blocks away and lug our suitcases and groceries. That was a hassle, but the location was GREAT

This property is close to everything in Asheville. The loading/unloading is a bit of a nightmare because the front door is on a busy street with no place to park. We found the back exit and used it for our luggage and groceries, and easy access to the parking garage. We paid a holiday premium for the property and they wanted to charge us an extra $60+ to get early access even though it was available. There are no cooking supplies, so bring all your own spices, foil, etc. There were also no kleenex.

"This was an excellent base to explore Asheville on foot, as well as to get to awesome restaurants. We were 3 couples and loved everything about the loft - from the very complete stocking of the kitchen and baths (even travel size shampoo and conditioner provided!), to plenty of space to gather and visit, to loving the outdoor terrace. Three bedrooms with 2 kings and 1 queen bed and 3 full baths, and even 2 additional daybeds in a small loft area. Everything was sparkling clean and there were tons of pillows and towels. Only downside is having to park in a nearby garage, but you're right in the heart of downtown Asheville after all. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!"

The loft was fantastic. Location second to none. Easy to find great restaurants all around. The decor was great inside and happy to see a Keurig coffee maker (we're a bit spoiled there). Plenty of space inside for our crew of five to spread out. Nice and quiet despite being near the center of the action.

"Ellington Loft is a beautifully furnished and comfortable condo in the heart of Asheville. The amenities provided rival any of the high end hotels in the area. We walked out the door of the building, the old S&W Cafeteria building, and enjoyed the restaurants and shopping and all that is unique about Asheville. The balcony of the condo is large, has a lovely seating area of 2 sofas and 2 chairs and a dining table that seats 4; but the best part of the balcony is the long range view of the mountains. The condo easily sleeps 8 and the bed mattresses are so comfortable that all of us had great sleep. The Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking in the mountains are just minutes away. We will stay again at Ellington Loft when we return to Asheville. It felt like a home away from home."

We stayed at Ellington loft for our daughter’s graduation. Although it was spelled out clearly in the instructions, getting your stuff to Ellington loft is quite the feat. Had the Bellman at the hotel next-door, not seen me and come to me with a luggage carrier I would have had to have made four trips at least to the apartment to unload. So, if you have more than just a suitcase, this is not the place for you to stay. The location is great. The condo is very clean, the bed in the master was very comfortable. However, the decor is so very dated. Mustard walls and knickknacks are everywhere. There are so many knickknacks on every surface. There are two coffee makers, and that was listed in the supplies however, there is no coffee grinds provided. I have never stayed at a rental without coffee being provided. We realizedthis the night of our first day and we both rise early, earlier than any coffee shop opens. Pretty much, the kitchen has tons of plates and cups and cooking stuff, no measuring spoons, though, but no oil or sugar. Only salt and pepper. This was new to us also. Most places we stay provide a tiny bottle of oil and at least sugar packets. I would say spend less money on the knickknacks and provide a few essentials for the kitchen. I read back to someone’s comment saying they like to clean the counters as they cook, and that counter spray would be appreciated. There was nothing under the sink, except for dish soap, no counter spray. Would not recommend

Regarding the loading and unloading at Ellington Loft, new this year this home has a loading zone meant to make this process easier for guests, and we apologize that you found it to be difficult. We're happy to hear you were pleased with the cleaning, but apologize that the kitchen goods were found lacking. We keep the kitchen spices and oils very minimal due to the safety concerns associated with open contains and different reservations visiting the home. We hope you otherwise enjoyed Ellington Loft and the city of Asheville, and thank you again for your review!
