We had an outstanding stay and this property was amazing. From the moment we walked in it felt like home. Clean, inviting and nicely decorated. Walks on cool fall evenings, followed by soaks in the hot tub - we couldn’t have asked for more. Hosts were great communicators. Making sure we were all set with instructions, making sure we checked in without issues and checking in with us to make sure we had everything throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Waterfall Manor! The home is huge, with plenty of space for our group, and the private location and fantastic views made it feel like a true mountain getaway. At the same time, it’s incredibly convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, the airport and downtown Asheville, which made exploring the area easy without spending a lot of time in the car.The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we loved the adjustable bases with massage — such a great feature! The showers were luxurious with excellent water pressure, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable and the huge hot tub was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.A few minor things could have made the stay even better. We were a little disappointed that the waterfall wasn’t operating but understood as the pond level was quite low. The ceiling fan on the back deck did not work, appeared to be missing the remote. Tip to anyone staying the upstairs master off the kitchen, bring ear plugs if you have early risers staying with you. The kitchen cabinets are not soft-close hinges so they can be quite loud and there is not a door to the upstairs bedroom.Overall, these were small issues compared with everything we loved about the property. Waterfall Manor was spacious, comfortable, private and extremely convenient — a great home base for our Asheville vacation!

The primary suites were luxurious with over-the-top amenities. We also enjoyed walking around the beautifully landscaped pond and the little waterfall. Staying here added to the relaxation of our weekend trip with family, and we would stay here again!

Waterfall Manor was everything our family imagined it would be. We arrived to a beautifully decorated home. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bedrooms were very clean and so very spacious. The beds were like a cloud. And the bathrooms in the master suite on the main level and the suite on the second floor were breathtaking. My son could not get enough of fishing at the pond on site. We had the best time at the home. We didn’t want to leave to do our planned excursions. It’s close by to the waterfalls, Biltmore estates and axe throwing. We even took an early morning drive to the Pretty Place Chapel which was only an hour away. I so enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this wonderfully kept home.

The kitchen was stocked to our liking. The mattress were really nice if you like prefer firm. The main floor master is beautiful.

Beautiful property with amazing views. Pond and dock is gorgeous. Master bedrooms are very unique and it was tough to pick which one we wanted to stay in! Not sure if there is a shooting range nearby or some neighbors practicing and it scared my kids while outside, but we knew we were safe on the property. Food delivery is also very easy if you just wanted to enjoy the property rather than going out. Sierra Nevada is very close by. Would stay again!

This is a lovely piece of property for a private getaway. The home is large and has several gathering places for the whole family. There were even thoughtful touches for fur babies including a large dog crate (think Australian Shepherd size), a dog bed and bowls that were tucked in a safe and cool private pup room. The patio around the house is large and has a covered portion. The pond with fishing dock was especially fun for all of us.

Our family absolutely loved this beautiful house and property - complete with pond and small waterfall. It worked well for the three couples and our two grandchildren. Beautiful setting, lovely mountain view from the porch and the master suite on the top floor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The internet worked well and the speaker system was nice to have. We were too busy to check out the television systems, but it was nice to have them available in the two master bedroom suites and main living room. We definitely hope to visit again, and will take better advantage of the grill on the porch and/or the grill and small pavillions down by the pond!

What a beautiful retreat! This was a wonderful escape from the heat and the humidity of Florida. Close to Asheville wondering, hiking, and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Evenings on the deck were perfect and peaceful.

"Very happy with our stay. The property was clean, in great condition, and as presented on the site. We came to Asheville to elope and had two couples stay with us, and Waterfall Manor was an amazing hub for my bride to get ready for the (offsite) ceremony. The views of the mountains from the upstairs master bedroom and back deck were second to none, and the 10-acre property felt wonderfully secluded, while still be close enough to Asheville and Pisgah National Forest to suit our needs."

Overall we enjoyed our experience at this place and with the booking agency! We did have a really significant issue with the heater in two rooms which resulted in us having to buy ceramic heaters and heating blankets in order to comfortably sleep in two bedrooms. With two small children it was less than ideal. The thermostat was set to heat on 68 in one bedroom but would never get above 61 during our stay without the heaters we purchased being on! At $1000 a night we expected a little more “luxury” than what the house provided. When trying to communicate with the booking agency we were told the issue was because a vent was closed. With vaulted ceilings, how could we even get to the air vent to open it?Disappointed and would not stay at again.

As a physician, a clean house is the most important factor when selecting a house for my family. Unfortunately, this house was not sanitary. There were countless stains on the carpet and couch along w/ both dead and alive spiders, flies and ants. The manager kindly offered to take care of the insects during our stay, however, I wasn't comfortable using pesticides in the same rooms where my kids were sleeping. In addition, the dishwasher and grill were broken, and 1 of the showers made so much noise, it wasn't usable. The manager also offered to fix the dishwasher during our stay, but having the house under repair is not what we planned for. In addition, the listing shows that the house had 4 bedrooms. Sadly, 1 of the "bedrooms" didn't have a door separating it from the common space and you could see all the way to the bathroom (w/ a direct line of sight to the toilet) from the "bedroom" entrance. There were other privacy issues including no curtains/shades between the primary bedroom and hot tub. There were actually no curtains/shades anywhere. There were also not enough towels and we had to do many loads of laundry so we didn’t have to reuse the same towel for the hot tub and shower. This was frustrating since the dryer did not work very well, and we had to run the dryer 2-3 times before the clothes dried. In spite of this, the management team was very friendly and tried to resolve most of these things. However, when renting a luxury home, you don't expect so many problems.

Regarding the home's broken dishwasher and cleaning concerns, these were both reported within 48 hours of your arrival. We offered to have housekeeping and maintenance out to review and remedy these issues as needed, but it was reported that elderly members of your party would have a negative response to strangers in the home. These items should have been proper upon your arrival, and we apologize we were unable to address them for you upon your report of concerns. Regarding bedroom privacy, the top floor bedroom is open to the home's stairway and we outline this in the home's description to be upfront with guests. The home has limited window coverings as an aesthetic preference, and we apologize for any impact this had on your stay. Thank you again for your review and we hope you otherwise had an enjoyable 5-day stay near Asheville.
