Candyland Cabin

We’re already planning next year's trip. Loved the cabin and it fit the four of us well for a girls' weekend.

Hands down, one of the best places we have stayed at as a family. The front porch is amazing, we had fires every night at the fire pit, and the pool table and board games kept us entertained as well. For us, it was worth the drive into town to stay at this place, and we HIGHLY recommend it to others.

We absolutely loved the house and were extremely impressed by the home location, build and quality of the furniture. We loved being secluded and surrounded by trees. The home was stocked with everything to make a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Loved the pool /ping pong table. Rooms were spread out and very comfortable. We were very happy with the property.

The website was very easy to use and I really appreciated the ability to print out directions since the GPS in the mountains can be spotty.

Wonderful time at Candyland! Very clean and comfortable. Great secluded location and nice sunset views! Especially loved the fire pit and porches. Our family had a relaxing and enjoyable short stay.

We absolutely loved it. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies for cooking and baking. Everything was very clean and cozy and we all had an absolutely wonderful time. Loved that each bedroom was on a separate floor and the large living room had such tall ceilings and tons of windows. "Everything was perfect. We loved all the decks with plenty of chairs to enjoy the gorgeous views and the attention to detail the owners provided. Clearly they love sharing their beautiful cabin. All the special touches truly made us feel right at home. We had everything we needed. The views are a great bonus. Love the ""kids"" room! Can't wait until our grandkids can enjoy the bunk beds!"

Beautiful place! Plenty of room for all of our guests. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. Lots of board games and toys for the kids. It was very clean and had two good sized decks looking out at a nice view. We very much enjoyed our stay!!

We all had a great stay. We had 6 adults and two babies/toddlers. The house was very clean. I was intimidated by the description of the driveway but it was not that bad. Close proximity to Asheville.

"We had such a lovely time celebrating friends giving in this cabin. We flew in from all parts of the country (Houston, Austin, Chicago, Wilmington) and we loved the seclusion but welcoming feel of this cabin. But, no bears seen."

We had this cabin for Father's day. We had 5 family members of the six members. We had to arrived 9 hours from Indiana and it was very stressful. First we went to the cabin and we were very surprised by how nice it was! The next day we went to the gold mind and worked there all day. It took 7 hours to get one load of dirt down and tons of gold. The next day we went hiking. The trail was 4.5 miles long. But we went the short way which was 2.2 miles long. It took awhile. On Monday we packed up and went on another stressful trip that has 9 full hours. It was sad to see the cabin go.

"My wife and I stayed along with 4 teenage girls aged 14-17 (3 are ours). This was the second trip to Asheville in as many years. We drove to Brevard, drove through the Pisgah National Forest. First, saw the scenery and the waterfalls. Also whitewater rafting at French Broad Adventures. The water was a little cold for this, but we survived. Our cabin was very nice. We hoped to see a bear, but we didn't. Overall our stay was great despite the occasional teenage attitude! We hope to come back next year! "

Great place to stay. Very clean and charming. Needed nothing. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a bit. Just be sure to try and get there with some light left.

"Our stay in your beautiful cabin was wonderful! Everything was perfect and the cabin was well stocked! We really enjoyed grilling out every night and staying out on the porch while we watched the sunset. We also loved the hot tub, darts, and ping pong! Our dog Finley enjoyed the cabin too! "

Private cabin off the beaten path. Immaculately kept. The beds were super comfy. The ping pong/pool table was certainly a great addition!! Had a great stay. Would highly recommend.
