Blue Ridge Retreat

5 stars! We had a great stay with Carolina Mornings. The home was comfortable, clean, and really made you feel like you were at home. The bedding was especially great and made for a very comfortable stay. The driveway is a little wild getting in, but once you make down to the house, it’s absolutely worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

This home was simply fabulous and was beyond our expectations. One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at so far. The overall space is very inviting starting from when you open the front door; clean; airy and well laid out. The views and surroundings are to die for and we almost did not want to go anywhere else. The Host was very responsive and kind. Will definitely return should we decide to re-visit the area.

While my friend group tries not to support short term rentals taking over Asheville, we had all come into town from different states to meet up with a local friend so got a house for a home base. This house was absolutely perfect for that type of stay, lots of privacy options throughout the house plus plenty of communal area and incredible outdoor space. The game room was a hit as well. The included directions should really start from Leceister Road- we got super turned around and every one of us had lived in Asheville multiple years. We gave updated directions out for DoorDash and instacart deliveries (our friend is going thru chemo so we barely left the house) and they didn’t have an issue finding the place.

Nice place, could use a trash can in kitchen. But I had a great stay. No welcome info on house and functions eg how to access internet, that kind of info would be helpful. Nice house in great location.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️If I could give more stars I would. This Airbnb really is beautiful. Spotlessly clean and top quality everything from the furniture, appliances, linens, to the plates and cutlery. The location is perfect. Just 10 minutes drive into town, supermarket 5 minutes away but the house is in a lovely peaceful setting. Every morning we’d sit on the back patio, having a coffee, listening to the birds. If you get the chance to stay here you really should. You won’t regret it!

Beautiful home! New and very clean. Our family of four used all the rooms and really enjoyed the outdoor space. Follow the instructions for finding the driveway. Once you get there, it is super easy to get in and out. Close to groceries and fast food. Short drive to Asheville downtown.

Our cabin was very clean and tidy, and we loved the overall decor. We had four kids, so we loved all the safety features for kids, such as gates for the stairs and locks for sliding glass doors. They also had a vast collection of books and toys for the kids.

Had the best time enjoying the space. The house felt like home, but with an upgrade! The back deck and front patio were spectacular for morning and evening tea. The fire pit and games were a lot of fun!

The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable in every way.The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. However, there is a busy highway visible (and audible) from the front porch. A rolling field (where the occasional deer and turkey visits) buffers the house from the highway, but not enough to muffle the traffic noise when sitting on the front porch. The traffic noise is not audible inside the house or on the back porch. The property as a whole exceeded our expectations and redeemed any initial “highway vista” disappointment. The “host” is a rental agency. Once booked through AirBnB, communication through their guest portal becomes necessary and preferred (by them.) Should an issue arise, communication does not remain entirely on the AirBnB app, which makes it a little more complicated to receive support. We experienced being bumped around a bit between different phone numbers, answering machines and team members before an issue was attended to and resolved.

We LOVED this house. Was a great place to visit, and very close to downtown. The coffee from the front porch in the morning was picturesque, and the open space around the property was great for a private getaway. Also easy to access off the highway. The price was fine until you saw the cleaning fees. Still, a must-stay if you want to be near the city but have a private, premium stay with great views.

We recently stayed in this lovely house. The views are magnificent – mountains, woods, grassy lawn with occasional deer. Relaxing on the porches is a treat. We had an opportunity to watch from the porch hay baling on a neighboring property. Everything inside the house is convenient, comfortable and in excellent condition – beds, baths, kitchen, wi-fi, television, Netflix and Amazon, as well as board games. Asheville was a short drive away, and we enjoyed a bus tour of the city and dining in some of its excellent restaurants.

The house was clean and comfortable. There were a few small issues that we noticed. Like game pieces under furniture making one wonder how long it had been since someone cleaned under things (like the bed in the master or the couch in the main house). The game room was a fun addition. Again it would have been nice if there was more attention to detail when cleaning. The foosball table handles were sticky and in dire need of a deep cleaning. Internet was super fast and worked well. The master bedroom had a monitor to connect to in case you need to work while there.

The house was spacious and quiet. However we were notified 2 weeks after leaving that we needed to pay $70 for a new set of bed sheets due to there being a small stain on it. Of course I did not take pictures of the linens upon arrival so we are being blamed for this. With the cost of the stay being high, you would think they should expect to regularly replace linens out of their profits. It is ridiculous that I am being asked to pay for them when the stains could’ve very well been there before my families stay. I appreciate the attention to detail but replacing bed sheets should not come as an extra expense to the guests. We have stayed in Airbnbs many times and never had anything like this happen. I am disappointed in the request. So just be aware they are going to nickel and dime you for any little thing, well after your departure.

Beautiful home, but not clean. Mold in the master shower prevented us from using it and smelled bad. Spent 3 hrs cleaning on our first of 18 days. The lovely master bathtub is not big enough for an adult; I am only 5‘3“. The water was not very hot; our request to fix was denied. On the plus side, turkey and deer graced the field out front daily.
