Really nice house with a great view. Well stocked. The hot tub was very nice, as was the outdoor seating area. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. I will say it's a bit out of the way (which some may view as a plus). While only about 15-20 minutes from Asheville, anytime you wanted to do anything, you had to get in the car and drive to it.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home for vacation. Plenty of space, and the house was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Very well decorated with minimal clutter. It’s a short 15 or so minute drive to West Asheville (good restaurants) and 20 or so minutes to downtown Asheville. Great location to feel like you’re in the country, but actually close to urban areas as well. We enjoyed our stay!!

The house was very nice and in a quiet location. Sitting on the top deck looking at the mountains in the distance was relaxing. Plenty of room for a family. There are some games to play with a family of all ages. My grown adult sons and I even played one of the games and put a puzzle together. Plenty of storage for food. Bedrooms were a decent size.

Very easy to access, nice drive out of town but still close enough to easily pick up supplies/groceries. The layout of the home is terrific, though it should be noted that the upper driveway is blocked off so luggage does have to be carried up the interior stairs. Even so, we had a terrific week at this location with awesome response times and attention from the management team when we had questions. Thank you for a magnificent time!

The house was stunning and very immaculate. Looks exactly like the pictures. Super clean. Everything was clearly marked and well thought out. The one thing that made it difficult was that they did not allow you to use the elevator which would help to get your stuff up to the second floor. The main reason this is an issue is because they also have blocked off the driveway to get to the top of the house, so you have to take all your stuff through the downstairs door and up 2 flights of stairs to get it to the master bedroom, kitchen and living room. Again beautiful home super awesome everything was amazing except for that part. Super peaceful area and close to town. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The house is very well laid out with many many amenities thought out to make the guest experience very enjoyable. The house was very peaceful and all the QR codes to scan were very helpful! We found many great restaurants at the exit and Biltmore was a short drive away. But honestly, we didn’t want to leave the house.

Ahhhh….this home was exactly as described if not more! The home is immaculate with outstanding accommodations….sauna, hot tub, fire pit, fireplace, jacuzzi tub…I could go on! There were instructions all over the home of how to use appliances, the tub, sauna, hot tub and more. That was much appreciated. Cleanliness of the house was above my expectations. Wonderful hot showers with great pressure. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need even a nice touch with providing coffee. I would 100% recommend this property for your family stay in the Asheville area. The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer! If I could give this home 10 stars, I would!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying here! The house was stunning - immaculate and spacious yet cozy and comfortable. It had more than expected as far as kitchen appliances (popcorn maker, food processor, etc.) which was nice, and was also easy to locate. There were clear instructions all throughout the house for how to use certain things such as the sauna or speakers they had set up in various rooms. The view was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved it! 10/10 recommend.

Whether you want the to totally relax or get out and enjoy all that Asheville and the mountains have to offer you can’t go wrong with this home. It’s spacious and beautifully decorated. From the well stocked kitchen, cozy giant bed to the deck (views!) and the sauna/ hot tub you’ve got options for maximum enjoyment and relaxation. We especially appreciate the clear directions for the appliances and smart TVs and the thoughtful suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

This was a great stay! My family and I had an amazing time! The only thing I will give a heads up about is the floors…. Do not wear socks while going up and down the stairs! Extremely slippery, 2 of us fell while going down…. Nothing happened, but just a heads up. The house is gorgeous and meant to be there forever! The sauna, fire place, and hot tub were divine!

Our group felt very comfortable staying at the High Top Mountain Retreat. It had beautiful views, we loved staying cozy inside by the fire when it rained all day, and it was very close to downtown for an easy drive to some shops and restaurants. We were very impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was, especially since we love to cook when we go on vacation. We hope to use Carolina Mornings again for future stays.

We really enjoyed staying at this hidden gem. Our family had booked Christmas Candlelight tours at the Biltmore which is only about 15-20 minutes away. The home was definitely our style, elevated from your typical cabin. We enjoyed the kitchen space that was well stocked and the hot tub/ sauna were great additions. We’d love to stay here again when visiting the Asheville area!

I wanted someplace to stay that was close enough to downtown to enjoy the breweries and restaurants, but remote enough to have a natural setting and great views, and this house was fit the bill perfectly. Just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, yet far enough away to enjoy the sweet sounds of birdsong, the breeze rustling through the trees and the moonlight night sky. The view is great! And the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower really add to the relaxing experience. The beds are very comfortable too. I felt like I was staying in a ski chalet in summer.

What a great place to stay for a wonderful weekend in Asheville. After an active day of exploring downtown, the River Arts District and the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was so nice to cool off in the outdoor shower and relax in the hot tub and sauna. The evening was made complete with a great dinner on the deck with its extraordinary view. This spacious home is so comfortable and relaxing that I want to return soon. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed my stay at High Top Mountain Retreat! What a beautiful home. The high ceilings and the tall windows provided a spectacular view of the Pisgah Mountain range. With it's warm and welcoming décor I felt my cares melt away as I stepped inside. The hot tub a sauna helped me really relax and unwind. The kitchen is set up for some serious cooking, and the gas grill and outdoor dining make for a perfect meal. Plus it's only a 20 minute drive/Uber ride to downtown Asheville or the Biltmore Estate and 10 minutes to the hip entertainment scene of West Asheville. I am looking forward to visiting again!

This house has everything you will want for a stay in the Asheville area … it is spacious, up-to-date in every way, and the kitchen is big enough for at least 2+ cooks. There is nothing that is over looked in making the guests feel at home and comfortable … just in case you want to hang out here more than in downtown Asheville. The outside amenities are enough to make you feel like you are at a resort in case you don’t want to leave for day tripping. You will love the view from the back deck … beautiful. One more note … everything looks like it is new! Enjoy

We had 8 guests stay at this location for a weekend retreat away. The home itself is beautiful. Master bedroom on the top level with a king size bed, marble shower and jacuzzi, and a small pull out couch. Downstairs is a queen, a full, and a king pull-out. The house says it sleeps 8, which is true with the pull out couches… but speaking “beds” there are only 3 bedrooms, something to be aware of if people want privacy when sleeping. The sauna was my favorite part, but it only stays on for an hour and takes multiple hours to get above 100F. Overall we enjoyed our time. There were NOT enough towels, barely any extra blankets, and we used all of the toilet paper. For the amount of guests AND having a hot tub / sauna, I would have thought there’d be more towels and toilet paper. There was also no Fire wood for the outdoor fire pit. An important thing to know is that the owners are watching the camera footage. I was texted with a concern that there were more than 8 guests in the house, when I asked why, I was told that the owners saw 7 cars in the driveway via the security camera. This made me feel very uncomfortable for the duration of the stay. So beware that the cameras aren’t just for an emergency, we are being watched.

The house is beautiful, one of the nicer airbnb houses I have stayed at. It is stocked with top of the line amenities. The beds are fantastic. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but in reality you are a couple miles from anything you need. I would recommend staying at this house 100% but I wouldn’t recommend staying here as long as Carolina Mornings is running it. The water had been turned off to the house, we did not find this out until a couple hours after we got there. I called Carolina mornings and they told us they would have someone there first thing in the morning to fix it. At 10:30am the next day we still did not have water and nobody was on their way to fix it. Luckily we found the well in the yard and were able to turn it back on ourselves, or who knows when we would have got water if at all. Carolina Mornings did not care about us having no water and had no sense of urgency when it came to fixing this issue for us.

Our family rented this home for my terminally ill mother's last Christmas. Despite confirming multiple times that the property was ADA-accessible with step-free access and an ADA-equipped primary bedroom, we discovered these features were untrue. The "step-free" access only led to the basement, and the elevator between floors was locked. When contacted, Carolina Mornings' response was shockingly insensitive - one agent suggested we "leave mom in the basement" and blamed us for "our mistake." After three days of back-and-forth, they stopped responding entirely. My husband had to build a ramp so my mother wouldn't be confined to the basement during her final Christmas. While the home itself is lovely, the company's callous treatment and misrepresentation of accessibility features make it impossible to recommend either Carolina Mornings or their managed properties. We have filed a complaint with ADA and are considering a further pursuit legally.

On our end we are not seeing any communication regarding 'ADA-accessible' features prior to your booking and believe you saw some of our accessibility amenities on the listing. The home has accessibility features as defined and approved by Airbnb, but these are not ADA-compliant features nor does Airbnb require them to be. These features include 'step-free' access to the lower level of the home where a few bedrooms are located as well as a 'disabled parking spot' defined as a large flat parking area for guests.
