We came to escape the heat in Florida for a week and had a wonderful time. The cabin has everything you need, including starter supplies of essentials. The view is absolutely amazing from the main room, the deck, and from the loft bedroom. The mud room was perfect for my daughter's pups and a great bonus to have. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with our coffee in the morning, watching the clouds slowly rise from the mountains. We did not have a chance to use the grill or the fire pit due to a couple rainy afternoons and excursions elsewhere, but we did use the hot tub a few nights. The view of the stars was amazing from there. The location is a little remote, so when we traveled to Asheville, we made a day of it. If you stay in the loft, you will be awakened by the morning sun, so keep that in mind, and it is open to the lower level, so if you have other guests, you will not have total privacy. All in all a great place to stay for our getaway!

This is a really nice spot for someone looking to relax or as a hub 35 minutes from Asheville. The house is as-pictured: well-built, straight-forward and cozy. It sits about a quarter mile up a very steep gravel road and looks across a wooded valley where you can watch sheep roaming the clearings, bumble bees hovering above the brambles, or birds singing.

We found this property and as soon as we drove up the driveway we felt right at home. The view is beautiful, the furnishings and decorations were lovely, and our son loved the hot tub. Highly recommend anyone looking for a lovely, secluded getaway close to all the fun activities Asheville has to offer.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The cabin was beautiful and so were the views. It looked exactly like the pictures. And to my surprise, we had no trouble getting Ubers to come out to the property to bring us into downtown Asheville, even though it is so remote. Would definitely book again!

We chose to spend our honeymoon here. We couldn't have had a better time. If you are not use to Appalachian back roads, I highly suggest you checking in before sunset. The views are absolutely incredible, peaceful, crispy, mountain air. We tried our best to use the firepit to make smores and soak in the hot tub. We never wanted to leave. We also brought our two small dogs along. They had to best time. We would love to stay again. Thank you!

We had a nice stay in this cabin 30 minutes outside downtown Asheville. We loved the upper loft area and the big windows. We were able to use both the fire pit and hot tub during our time. The house is perfect for bringing a dog because of the mud room area being enclosed. The host communicated a lot of helpful information for check in and general info about the house and surrounding area. We took several trips to downtown for food and for some outdoor hikes. The house felt surface level clean, so this was one thing that we felt could be improved on (dusty, you can tell pets have been on the furniture with hair and stains, dirty fridge). We only used the king size bed in the loft which was semi-comfortable. Overall, the layout of the house and amenities were great and we would stay here again.

This place was very nice. It had great views and was very quiet. The kids enjoyed their space downstairs and we enjoyed the large master upstairs. We were close enough to Ashville and drove there daily. We loved the tree-top adventure trails and the sliding rocks were great. We would stay here again!

The cabin was spacious and clean. The big yard gave an ambiance of privacy that can be rare to find. Although tucked away down some curving roads, only 10-15 minutes from just about anything in Asheville.

You might be sure to mention in the information that getting to the house after dark is quite tricky for those unused to mountain road driving. Arriving before dark would be preferable!

I can’t rave enough about this place! The Mountain View’s are just to die for. Pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin was clean, directions were easy and the accommodations were very comfortable. Highly recommend printing directions before driving due to patchy cell/internet service. Not complaining at all; I didn’t rent the cabin to sit by the fireplace and stream Netflix. :)

Beautiful sparkling clean A-frame cabin with lovely loft space featuring king-sized bed and whirlpool. The upper floor has a great view. We had a wonderful time. The house is well-stocked.

"Our family of 5 rented this cabin for a fun trip of hiking, rafting and zip lining. It was a super cozy home that had everything we needed. My teenagers enjoyed the fire pit and visits from wild peacocks. We also play a lot of games in the evenings and the dining area was a great space for this. The beds were in great shape and super comfy and very clean. It was peaceful and beautiful on the deck where we grilled dinner and enjoyed the mountains. I only wish I brought our fur babies as there was great space for them. We have a great trip and would recommend this cabin to friends."

I think it would be ideal for a coupe or family without children. It is about 30-40 mins outside of the city of Asheville/ most well known tourist attractions. Overall, the property had excellent views and a peaceful environment. We had come difficulty entertaining and putting down active toddler as a lot of the windows didn’t have overt coverings. My only other criticism was that it was not super clean when we came but we may be overly critical as we came with a toddler who truly left no cushion unturned. I do think one thing that would be beneficial would be inside locks for the front and back door. Overall, we would come back but not with a child

The cabin is as described. Peacefuly and stunning views. Loved that it's pet friendly. Everything we tried to use worked. If looking for things to do: Addison Winery is a 5 min drive. We were most impressed by Sierra Nevada Brewery, it was not on our radar until someone suggested we check it out, very cool! Lots of Arts District businesses are open now and need support, take the drive!! I can't say I would come back to this exact cabin at the price we paid during holiday($4300 +) but I do recommend trying it out. Nice place with pleasant offerings.

Had a great stay/birthday week. My friends and I enjoyed the cabin and the windy roads. The pups had a great time playing outside and on the trails. We will most definitely be staying again. Go to the chocolate lounge if you get the chance! Great sweet treats & coffee!

" Loved our stay! Quarantine with a 5, 3, and 1 year old was wearing on all of us - we needed to get away and have a change of scenery. Trading palm trees for mountains. This trip has been such a breath of fresh air and such a memorable trip. This place is gorgeous and has everything you would need - so pleasantly surprised to find children's utensils and dishes. The house itself is great and in a great location, not too far from Asheville (about 30 minutes) but very peaceful! There were a lot of ladybugs in the house, and a mouse running around in the walls which we heard many times but never saw. A couple members of our group got hot tub folliculitis from spending time in the hot tub, so make sure you shower well after going in it! Overall, we enjoyed our time, and the host was very responsive to messages

This house has the potential to be beautiful and for what is being charged I expected more. There were a lot of dead bugs on the floors, windowsills, and in the upstairs bathroom. The couch cushions have a lot of stains and could really use a good cleaning and any dishes we wanted to use needed washed first. Several things on the floor were missed, 2 q-tips and small game pieces on the upstairs rug, which tells me those aren’t shook out or vacuumed. Thank goodness my daughter found them or our small dog would have definitely got a hold of them. After reading the guest book, it sounds like we aren’t the only ones that arrived to poor housekeeping. The bedroom furniture is set up randomly with no real purpose and there are no TVs other than the one in the LR. I always strip the beds at the end of our stays to try to be helpful and the one mattress pad had a large yellow stain on it. Two soaking wet towels were left down by the hot tub and I would love to know the last time the hot tub was cleaned. The drive there is tricky, but the view is amazing. Unfortunately next time we will look to stay somewhere else.
