Enjoy a quick 3-minute drive to downtown Hendersonville, where you'll visit the Hands-On Children's Museum, a revitalized Main Street, and plenty of casual and fine dining options. Groceries are literally right around the corner a half-mile away. Get outside and explore the area! Walk the nature trail to the playground at Rhododendron Lake Nature Park (4 min), climb up Glassy Mountain in Carl Sandburg State Park (14 min), and watch the sunset at Jump Off Rock (12 min). For an evening out, check out shows at the Flat Rock Playhouse, just 12 minutes away, or take nearby I-26 to Asheville where popular attractions such as the Biltmore Estate (33 min), nightlife, gorgeous architecture, and numerous delicious restaurants and breweries await your discovery. Happy Leaf Lodge is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance between 10:00 p.m. and 8 a.m. and has a low noise tolerance. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains.
• Travel Insurance Recommended
During the winter months we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
• Exterior Cameras. Please note, Happy Leaf Lodge has 5 active security cameras located on it's exterior. Their approximate locations and area monitored include:  1. The Front door  2. The Driveway   3. The Gravel parking on side of house  4.  The Backyard/firepit and 5. The Back porch. 
• Limited Internet. This property is equipped with a 18 Mbps internet connection. This speed is normally sufficient for one device to stream, but could slow down with multiple devices in use at the same time.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
