Long Family Hideaway

We loved this house! We had the best time on the lake with all of the kayaks, paddle boards, and floating mats! The scenery is breathtaking as soon as you get out of the cove..mountains are gorgeous. We were up there to move our daughter into UNCA so this was the perfect place to spend time with family. My husband even caught a large mouth bass right off the pier! The house was cozy and clean, we had plenty of room! Would highly recommend staying at this house, a great time was had by all!

We were very happy with the location of the property and loved being directly on the water. The water toys provided are amazing and we truly enjoyed both the inside and outside of the property. A dishwasher would be a great upgrade but we were able to manage!

Just returned from this beautiful lake house with our two kids! We had a blast and it was exactly what we needed to get a well-deserved break from our busy everyday life! We stayed for four nights and the minute we arrived we hit the Deck and just enjoyed the stunning view. We truly didn’t want to leave and we will for sure return next summer. If you are hesitant about booking, don’t be. I can be extremely picky but I have zero complaints!

I priced Biltmore for this trip. I needed two rooms because of my 3 kids. Instead, I found this Airbnb. It was literally half as much. We had our own private house with a boat dock on the lake and gorgeous fall colors all around. It was a wonderful vacation. Everything was easy. The house was clean. The setting was unreal. We will search Airbnb first before we book another trip to the mountains!

Beautiful property on the lake. We had 6 ladies and had plenty of room. The only caveat was the steps to the property. We had 2 older ladies who had a hard time getting up and down the steep grade. Just be aware that you park up on the road and walk down the steps to the property. This could be a problem for those who have mobility issues. Other than that, everything was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My mother, sister, and I enjoyed our stay in this lakefront cabin. We ate our meals and lounged, while reading, on the lovely decks. This home was beautifully decorated and well-furnished. I would highly recommend it.

Great home right on the water. Kiddos enjoyed all the water toys offered. Great outdoor furniture. I even caught a small mouth bass right from the dock!

Fabulous family house, we loved being here and the outdoor space. The house itself is not big but it was still great for us and 6 kids! The littles (4, 7, 8, 10) loved the bunk room and teen girls liked the space to get away downstairs. Kitchen small but had everything we needed. Used the electric grill in the mornings for pancakes and french toast and now I have to buy one! The paddle boards and kayaks were great as were all the water toys. A terrific lake home!

Perfect getaway for our family of five. Loved having access to 2 kayaks to go out on the lake for early morning rides. The many patios and decks were great for enjoying the Fall weather. The staff were very accessible and accommodating.

Beautiful cozy charming place our family of 5 enjoyed so much. It was perfectly located and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. There's so much outdoor space for the kids to explore and very relaxing indoors also. The place was clean and had no issues at all.

We have stayed at the Longs Lake Home several times. The accommodations are perfect. House has everything you need for spending the day on the lake. Enjoy all the amenities of home with beautiful views! Highly recommend.

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the house and the lake! The house was very clean and comfortable. My kids enjoyed jumping in the lake and the view was gorgeous, we’ll be back!
