Rose Hill Country Cottage

Cute little house behind a main house. On a quiet street. It didn't have central AC and we went in July. There was a window unit in the bedroom. We opened the windows and were very comfortable. Downtown Ashville is minutes away with wonderful restaurants and a fun vibe.

The location was very close to downtown Ashville. Very clean inside. Highly recommend it for a couple wanting to get away for a while.

Rose Hill Cottage was a perfect place to retreat for the weekend in Asheville. It was clean, and comfortable with a private and peaceful feel, on the hill surrounded by nature. Such a good location to access any part of Asheville and surrounding areas. We met the hosts, Debra and Bill, in passing, and they are so nice. We would certainly return again.

We loved our stay at the Rose Hill Cottage. It's conveniently located close to downtown, the Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this property. We visited for a weekend and it is the perfect balance between the mountain atmosphere while also being a short drive away from attractions. Also, bed was very comfy and the shower was really nice. We would definitely stay here again if we go back, only thing we’d bring next time is a Roku so we could watch more movies!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at such a beautiful, peaceful place! It has been a wonderfully relaxing mini vacation. So close to downtown but tucked away, to be able to really enjoy the mountain air and nature. We look forward to a return trip!

Rose Hill Cottage is a beautiful and well-appointed cottage. The setting is private and peaceful. The cottage is behind the owners home but we only met the owner as we were leaving. She is kind and gracious. I would definitely recommend Rose Hill Cottage and will return if we travel back to Asheville.

We enjoyed our stay at Rose Hill Cottage! Great vacation without being in the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed jumping on the Blue Ridge Barkway & doing some stops and hikes off of it. Spent an entire day exploring The Biltmore (so much to see!). We also took some day/afternoon trips to Chimney Rock State Park (incredible views!) and Dupont Recreational Forest (lots of great hikes & waterfalls). We highly recommend both. This place is very nice and so cute and cozy and the cleanest I have ever seen. Nice deck and pretty view to have your morning coffee. The perfect size for 2 people. The location is perfect and close to everything. The owners home is on the property, but we never even saw them so they definitely respect your privacy and it was nice knowing that if we had any issues, which we didn't, someone was there to help as my daughter and I were there by ourselves and we felt very secure knowing that someone was there as the place is very private.

Beautiful setting and gorgeous Airbnb. Perhaps the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at. It was a peaceful retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location. If you book it, you will not be disappointed.

"This stay definitely exceeded my expectation! The cottage is in a great location, it was easy to get to the Biltmore, Chimney Rock/Lake Lure, and downtown Asheville (driving and very low Uber fares). It was spacious, extremely clean, and the surroundings were peaceful and private. The amenities were plenty; Owners are very thoughtful hosts. Will book again whenever I'm in the area!"

"I loved our stay here. It was just enough for the two of us. The atmosphere and finishes in the unit are wonderful, and it was sparkling clean. I only wish we had spent more time there! The bed was very comfy - we often find beds either too soft or too hard but this was just right. In case you wonder, the garage underneath is NOT part of the unit. I didn't think this but realize that it features somewhat prominently in the photo. All the living space and entry are on one level - the top level. So, if you have any mobility issues, take that into consideration. It is the perfect combo of cozy and modern and country retreat with closeness to city. It is about 10-20 min from anything in Asheville and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved it!"

"We cannot think of one way that improvements could be made. We had such a fantastic time in Asheville. From the moment I spoke with Carmen, of Carolina Mornings, on the phone (she helped select the property), I knew we had found a special rental company. She was so friendly and even called me right back to remind me there were several stairs on the property as we have a one year old baby. The reservation, the confirmation process, the smartphone App and directions were so impressive and spot on! The cottage felt like home! After a long day of sightseeing and attending the Mother Earth News Fair, it was so welcoming to come home and relax. Every nook and cranny of the rental was spotless and given special attention. I felt as though our needs were anticipated with every door that was opened. We will be back! In conclusion, we must comment on the caring and kind nature of everyone in Asheville. We truly felt that we were surround by friends everywhere we went. Many treasured memories and such a blessing for our family. THANK YOU again!"
