Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from July 14th to the 30th, The Great Smoky Mountains Train will travel that "yellow brick road" to meet the mysterious Oz! Much like the Polar Express train ride, this one will last 2.5 hours and along the way it retells the classic 1939 film based on the great L. Frank Baum story. Beginning in Munchkinland (Bryson City Depot), journey goers will meet Dorthy and Glinda the Good Witch of the North. From there, the train heads toward "Emerald City". Along the way, you'll meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion... and of course the wicked witch!
Riders are encouraged to wear their favorite Wizard of Oz costumes and to bring cameras! All children receive a special gift for helping Dorothy make her way home.
