Overall very nice accommodations and location. Did not get a chance to sign the guestbook..! Plenty of room. Downstairs theatre room rocks. We enjoyed a few movies and a KC Chiefs win!

Peaceful and quiet location where you feel like you're away from the town while still being only about 15 minutes from stores, restaurants, etc.

Good location and a nice home. We enjoyed our stay, saw some wildlife and were able to spend some great time with family. It is in a good location and we enjoyed being able to quickly get to the things that we wanted to see and do.

We had a great time in North Carolina and in Cedar View. house. The pool table and theatre were enjoyed! We visited the Biltmore Estate, rented bikes, and rode the trails at Biltmore, walked miles in The Smoky Mountains. Thank you and we hope to be back soon again!

Very relaxing house and in a great location. We loved the movie theatre. Bring or rent DVDs as this works the best for the setup. Great gathering spaces. The room is very spacious.

We had a wonderful time staying in your lovely home. The home theater was a big hit! We saw several bears. We would recommend visiting Grandfather Mountain, Hooker Falls, and the Biltmore. All were amazing experiences. We have made such beautiful memories and we will return again next year for more. Thank you!

Beautiful views from the porches and upstairs bedrooms. Great location with proximity to all the Asheville area has to offer. Enjoyed playing pool! Easy access to the Blue Parkway.

The house was really nice and big. We come down here to celebrate my 11th birthday with my dad, nana, brothers, and cousin. I had so much fun and we saw a deer, not a bear. We watch a movie in the movie room and that TV was big. I wish we could stay longer.

Great secluded home up in the mountains. Lots of space for the whole family. Views are awesome and the commute into town is rather quick. Would stay again!

We’re a family of 4, but this cabin gave us a place to come back to and spend QT together. Host was great. This is not super fancy or updated, but so we’ll distributed for a small family. Plenty of space but unified. Would come back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your mountain lodge. We loved Asheville and seeing bears, playing pool, and sitting by the fire. The "cold weather" was perfect. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

We really enjoyed the home. The theater room was great and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. We really appreciated having a clean/unwrapped dish sponge and bottle of soap upon arrival. There were also games and puzzles which was really nice. The proximity to downtown was awesome and we were still able to have an amazing view of the mountains (which was our primary reason for choosing this rental). We also really enjoyed the fireplaces. It made the home feel very cozy and comfortable. We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - we would recommend. Kitchen was well stocked.

"We came for a Labor Day weekend. The house & views were great! Loved the location - right turn and you're on the Blue Ridge, left turn and you're in town in 10 minutes. A great time was had by all! The dog loved it also! We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - we would recommend. 5-star cleanliness - kitchen was well stocked."

"We enjoyed our stay. The listing was exactly as described. The home was clean and organized and had everything that we needed. The carpets were brand new and the home was very clean and welcoming. The only note of consideration, the driveway and drive up the winding mountain may be challenging in bad weather, but you are in the Mountains!! We Loved it!"

Loved views. Back porch / Rocking Chairs awesome! We came from 90 degrees with humidity to wake up to a morning with windows open and a 68 degree breeze. How can you not love it? To the owners you have a small piece of heaven here. If you ever think of selling let us know!

I love this house! Cedar View is well maintained with nice furniture the kitchen well stocked. The home theater is fun. Lots of porch space to sit and take in the fabulous views.

Great house for our family. 3 kids under the age of 4yrs old and 2 boxers. We all loved walking the mountain and the kids loved watching movies in the theater. So close to downtown. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to cook.

"Great location. Away from it all atop Town Mountain Road, but close to all Asheville has to offer. A beautiful drive linking downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. In minutes you can be enjoying all the outdoor adventures the area has to offer. Or head the other direction for the great food and fun in Asheville; it is a quick Uber away. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have great views. Exceptional master suite. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen. 2 levels of outdoor seating looking out at the mountains. 3 car garage. This is a great property for a gathering of friends and/or family. Will definitely consider next time I am in Asheville "

"The house was very nice and it had everything needed. We were in Asheville for a tax seminar and could not have chose a better house or location. We very much enjoyed the views, pool table and theatre room. We loved the drive up to the property and even got to see a bear. There was a large castle property on the road up to the house that we later found out was built back in 1912 which we thought was neat. Our stay was great. We will definitely be back."

Beautiful home near the top of Town Mountain Road. The view was spectacular! The back deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and/or evening cocktails. The movie viewing room is fantastic. We all snuggled into the comfy reclining chairs to watch a movie on the big (huge) screen one evening and promptly all fell asleep! (that might have been after the evening cocktail on the back deck) Just a short drive down the hill to downtown Asheville and all the fun this town has to offer. We were pleased to discover that Uber is available since there are so many great beers to sample in Asheville. Easy drive to beautiful hiking - we hiked up to Catawba Falls. Just a quick drive to Grove Park where we had a wonderful spa day. This home is perfect for a large or extended family. We hope to return!

"We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The vacation was wonderful. The home is minutes to Asheville as advertised yet you feel you are in the wilderness. We saw bears, mostly on the road, coyote a number of times and a variety of smaller animals. The views from the back deck go on forever. The movie room was an added bonus for a couple of movie nights. As was the pool table. Internet reception was great for a member of the party that needed to stay connected. A great home for a vacation you will not be disappointed. "
