Clean and nice place but the view says it all! The view of the valley and distant mountains was worth it! We had coffee every morning for the view and a glass of wine every evening with a view of the small town lights below.

This home has beautiful mountain views and a large patio to enjoy them. The interior is well furnished with up to date appliances and very clean. The home is also located close to multiple groceries (Publix, Ingles, Fresh Market) and restaurants. It was a wonderful choice for us, and we will happily stay there again for our next Asheville trip.

The house was clean spacious and had wonderful views. About a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunset. We were there in May, so the steep, winding road was fine to maneuver.

We loved our stay! The view was gorgeous and the deck made for a good running area for our toddler. Lots of room to sleep. There was even a travel crib which we appreciated! The place was clean and a full kitchen, which we took advantage of to cook and even grill out! Thank you for having us! Would 100% come back!

The views are very nice. Great sunset! The property was clean. Furnishings had been updated but the kitchen and baths were dated. The drive to downtown Asheville was about longer than anticipated - about 20-25 minutes. It was about 15 minutes from the Biltmore village area. And the road up to the property was very twisting and narrow.

A very nice property. Felt well-built and quiet. Had everything we needed for a 3-week stay (kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, working wi-fi, comfortable beds), plus some extras (playroom downstairs with pool table). Comfortable furniture throughout. Be prepared for a curvy drive up a mountain to get to the property.

This place was great for our group of 8. It was a fantastic view and great amenities, and the location was central to almost everything we did in Asheville. Sierra Nevada, Blue Ridge Parkway, didn't make it to the Biltmore but was close. The home was pretty clean, with a bit dated interior, but functioned extremely well for what we needed. The grill and deck are put over the top. Great spot. 4 of 5!

What a wonderful home! The house was clean, had everything we needed (towels, linens, soap, shampoo/conditioner), and was in the most perfect location. We couldn’t get enough of the deck and the views! While the house was secluded and private, it was still a quick drive to local restaurants and grocery stores. I would stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The view is spectacular - the pictures don't do it justice! The layout of the house is wonderful - we had my nana come and she was able to come in through the garage and up the set of stairs and everything she needed was right there on the main floor! Of course, we also played pool and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace! The staff was super helpful and responded immediately - we had last-minute pets coming and they worked with us super fast to get that done! Definitely recommend!

The house, property, location, and views were all amazing. Our small issues were: we showed up to a funky smell that we were able to get rid of with candles, the bedrooms needed better lighting & the towels were low-end hotel towels. With this being said I would rent the house again because all our issues are easily remedied. Check-in and out process and had no reason to contact the rental company!

We had a family gathering to celebrate birthdays. The home was very clean and comfortable. The view is incredible and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit keeping us warm on a cool evening and morning. The only thing that we would recommend is a little later checkout. 10 a.m. checkout is early when you are trying to relax and go at a vacation-style pace.

"The drive to the house is fine during lighted hours but at night is dangerous as the road is steep and only big enough for one car midway up the mountain so if 2 cars are meeting head on, there is very little light and space to maneuver. Once you reach the property though, the view is well worth the risk. The view is remarkable and space is comfortable. Would definitely stay again!"

We stayed here for Christmas week and so enjoyed it! To begin it was immaculate when we checked in! With its open floor plan the house lays out very nicely for family gatherings and dinner together. It has a well stocked kitchen. The best part of this beautiful home is the views even in the winter we were able to sit out on the deck enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Would highly recommend Sunset Peaks!

It was a lovely house with great views. There was a problem with opening the front door. In the instructions provided, you should include the need to push hard on the front door to make it open. The one lane road was a challenge.

The property is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. The views are breathtaking, and the house exudes charm and a welcoming atmosphere. It provided a wonderful setting for our holiday family travels, and we truly enjoyed our time there. However, for a family of six, we wished the home had been better stocked with essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, dishwashing soap, and kitchen towels. Having to purchase these items ourselves was inconvenient. We were also excited to use the firepit, but it wasn’t functioning properly, leaving us unable to enjoy the outdoor space in the cold weather. Our arrival was also less than seamless. The front door malfunctioned, making it difficult to access the property after a long drive & flight. Disappointingly, we noticed a previous review mentioned the same issue, so it was frustrating to find it still unresolved. The property management team added to the challenges. The first representative left us on hold for 20 minutes while we stood outside in 40-degree weather. When we called back, the second representative was dismissive, suggesting user error instead of offering help. We eventually got inside, but the door remained unreliable until the day before we left. Despite these issues, the house itself was fantastic, with its comfort, charm, and stunning views. We would recommend it but hope the management improves on maintenance, stocking essentials, and delivering better customer service.

This place was great for our group of 8. It was a fantastic view, great amenities, and the location was central to most everything we did in Asheville. Sierra Nevada, Blue Ridge Parkway, didn't make it to the Biltmore but was close. Home was pretty clean, a bit dated interior, but definitely functioned extremely well for what we needed. The grill and deck really put over the top. Really great spot. 4 of 5!

Welcome, yes. They had to send out someone late in the first evening to get the fireplace to work the first night. The outdoor fire pit never worked. That was a disappointment, but did not want to call someone back out.

Upon check in, there was pet hair and paw prints on every floor surface. I requested someone to come clean the floors as I am allergic to dogs (note to self I shouldn’t book a pet friendly place in the future) but the property manager never sent a cleaner. I sent photos of stains on the rugs and they said this is to be expected in a pet friendly Airbnb (gross). One of the light switches in the basement literally electrocuted us when we would use it (they sent someone to fix it 1.5 days later). The heat broke while it was snowing (they sent someone a half day later while we were stuck in the house at 50°). The pans in the kitchen are scratched and RUSTY! My 1 year old got locked in a bedroom and the door handle was nearly impossible to open - I know how to open a door lock and this was next level unsafe- those handles need to be replaced. Overall for almost $3K for a week, I felt like this was a total rip off. Unclean, literal HOLES IN THE WALLS, and preventable maintenance issues.

Regarding the cleanliness issues reported, we apologize that we were unable to coordinate a touch-up cleaning during your stay. We were asked not to send staff without specific time windows and to avoid contact during business hours, and had difficulty coordinating a resolution due to these requests. In terms of maintenance, we dispatched an HVAC technician within 90 minutes of your report of heating concerns. Our technicians also inspected and repaired the dimmer switch during your stay. Lastly, there was a concern reported with the functionality of an interior door handle, but it appears the handle was working as designed. Thank you again for your review. We apologize again the stay was less than perfect for your group, and hope you otherwise had an enjoyable stay in Western North Carolina.
