Important Property Notes
• Tranquility Lake House requires a Water Waiver to be completed to confirm the reservation. If the form is not completed within 24 hours of the Vacation Rental Addendum being signed, the reservation shall be canceled. Thank you.
• Due to the historic flooding in Western North Carolina in 2024, the primary lake of Lake Lure is unavailable for use until the Corps of Engineers has completed its work remedying water quality. The area has other great opportunities for guests, including hiking, zip-lining, a lazy river and indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, multiple racket sport courts, miniature golf, and waterfront restaurants and bars with stunning views. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
• Rumbling Bald Passes. Your home comes equipped with Rumbling Bald Community Passes, which give you access to several activities in the community. We do not manage the Rumbling Bald community amenities, and summertime amenities are only available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
• Noise Ordinance
Tranquility Lake House is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance between 9:00 p.m. and 8 a.m. and has a very low noise tolerance. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Travel Insurance is Highly Recommended. During the winter months, we highly recommend you consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home. No refunds shall be provided if you cannot access the home due to winter weather.

Located 1.4 miles from Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure! Showcasing dramatic natural beauty, Hickory Nut Gorge, Chimney Rock Park, and Lake Lure are popular destinations for a myriad of recreational activities such as boating, golfing, biking, rock climbing, and hiking. Tranquility Lake House is just down the road from the Buffalo Creek Park trailhead with a 3.5-mile loop and an 8.5-mile Weed Patch Mountain trail for hiking and mountain biking. Nearby Chimney Rock State Park is a 1,000-acre scenic attraction with dozens of trails and the spectacular 400-foot high Hickory Nut Falls. Delight in trying the local restaurants, plus there are many tourist shops to browse. The cities of Asheville and Hendersonville are both great places to visit for fine dining, shopping, and evening entertainment. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Lake Lure and is approximately 46 minutes to downtown Asheville.
