Conveniently located only ten minutes from Marshall, NC, this private estate offers the ideal vacation rental home for family reunions and large groups looking to experience the best of the Blue Ridge!

You'll love the way this three-level home was built for entertaining. Favorite group features include three separate living areas, six TVs so everyone can watch what they want to, and a bath with a shower for every bedroom. Warm up by the gas fire with a stone hearth in the main level. For hours of fun, escape to the recreation room, where you can enjoy the pool table and ping-pong tables with the garage doors open to the driveway. Plus, there's a basketball hoop! To keep the kids busy, there's also a PacMan/Galaga game, a SuperChexx bubble hockey game, and a Pop-A-Shot basketball game. Preparing meals for the whole group comes easy in the spacious gourmet kitchen with island seating and a second beverage refrigerator. Two long tables, one indoor and one out on the covered deck, make enough space for group dining. Rocking chairs with a fantastic view invite you to stay awhile and take in the fresh mountain breeze. Nighttime is perfect for hot tubbing and stargazing at The Lodge at French Broad! What a better way to end each day than gathered around the fire pit area for evening conversation and marshmallow roasting. For a more intimate gathering, the lower level patio has a covered lounge area next to an outdoor fireplace. Retire to the sumptuous mail level bedroom suite, featuring a queen bed and double door access to the bedroom and the deck. The attached bath has an accessible shower featuring a no-threshold entrance, double shower heads, and a built-in bench. The lower level "bunk room" is popular with kids and the young-at-heart. If you ever get around to exploring beyond the estate, stop by The French Broad River that flows just below the house. The excitement is just beginning at The Lodge at French Broad, from here the mountains are your playground!

We’ll definitely be staying there again!
This house is absolutely stunning! It is tucked in the mountains so it provides the perfect retreat from the real world. It’s only 2-3 minutes from a gorgeous river where people were rafting, painting, and relaxing. You can even hear the river from the porch! It is so peaceful and the view from the porch immediately calms your soul. We stayed at this house and drove into Asheville a couple of times during our stay and the drive is not bad at all! So it’s still a great option even if you want to visit Asheville. The only thing I will say is the driveway is a bit steep but the view at the top makes it all worth it. We can’t wait to go back and if this house is available for our next trip back, we’ll definitely be staying there again!

Came here with my family for a weekend and it was the best place!
This stay was amazing! Came here with my family for a weekend and it was the best place! It was spotless, matched the photos, and was an overall amazing experience! The amenities really added to the experience with all the games & their hot tub! Didn’t even feel the need to go out because of how much we enjoyed the place. Highly recommend!

This home was exactly as it appears in pictures and offers fantastic views.
This home was exactly as it appears in pictures and offers fantastic views. The layout is perfect for two families or a group vacationing together. We also loved the fact this rental came with complimentary passes to local attractions and we took advantage of that when visiting the Biltmore - a great perk, for sure! We suggest looking into that in advance to see what options you have.

Amazing house with large spaces
The house has everything large families need. It has a very well-equipped kitchen, perfect bedrooms for all to fit in and the large spaces are the best. The main living room, the dining room, the outdoor fireplace, and the playroom are just excellent places for the family to be together. The majority of the house is very well maintained and clean, except for the ground level. There we found the TV couch with popcorn and dirt, the rooms were dirty, and the furniture on the deck looked like hasn't been cleaned for a long time. We couldn't use that part of the house. The house location is very good. You can find some nearby outdoor trails at a 15 to 20 min distance. Asheville is 30 to 40 min away, which is fine. It has local stores nearby to buy groceries and stuff.

Prefection
Beautifully renovated, the details of the decor were perfection, but no water pressure. Even if you shower one at a time, you still can't change the water pressure.

Plenty of room for the whole family
This home is even more beautiful in person! The view is spectacular and the home is immaculate. Plenty of room for the whole family, and tons of entertainment for my teenagers. Perfect amount of seclusion, but still within 10 mins of a grocery store. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Amazing Vacation Rental
I love the Lodge at French Broad! Have spent two family/framily holidays at this gorgeous, spacious property. It is pristine clean, simply but beautifully decorated. Perfect for large family gatherings or get-aways with friends. Half the bedrooms have a private bath and the beds are super comfortable. With 3 floors, there is plenty of room to have several activities going on simultaneously whether you want peace and quiet, or social fun. Wifi worked great. Game areas, large outdoor pergola with hot tub, two indoor and an outdoor fireplace and firepit were perfect for gathering together. Kids loved praying in the woods behind the lodge. Huge kitchen with all the appliances you will need to cook big family meals, or eat out in nearby Asheville. The Appalachian trail and several white water rafting options are near by as well. Or hike up & down the driveway for a good workout. Big grassy area across the street on the river. I love everything about this place! & Pet friendly is a plus.

So well decorated
I’ve stayed at this gorgeous home and it is a home to never forget!! The views stretch for miles and there is a river no even 5 mins down the road. Being there is so peace full and calming. The house is enormous and the floor plan is so well thought out! There are so many bathrooms I can’t count! There is a beautiful bad yard with gorgeous fresh grass, as well as a out door living space with a hot tub and corn hole! I highly recommend this gorgeous home for a week stay in the mountains:)

Family Christmas
Wow! It’s a great place to come to get away from the fast pace of life. The views are awesome on the way and also from the front deck. The outdoor space is fabulous, we had a fire in the back sat around and talked. My husband and I were in the main floor master suite and had our own outdoor seating on the deck. Very nice! I love to cook and the kitchen is big and well stocked with lots of dishes and great appliances and pots. The ingles grocery is on the way in, it’s the perfect place to stock up on the good food. We enjoyed the hot tub and there is corn hole on the pergola and swing chairs too. The hill is steep but it’s a great walk to the river! We enjoyed the pool table on the lower floor and ping pong etc. It was a great time with family, or any group. Oh don’t forget the Appalachian trail is close by with great opportunities for hiking. We go to the little town of Hot springs to hop on the trail. It’s beautiful!! You will not regret this trip!
