Location Details
There are a ton of things to do when you stay at The Bear Lodge in Maggie Valley, NC - if you care to leave at all! The cabin is a 13-minute drive from Maggie Valley, NC, a busy mountain town that's home to a range of dining and shopping options, as well as the popular Wheels Through Time Museum. Cherokee, NC is 37 minutes away, where you can spend a day exploring Native American culture and catch a show at Harrah's Casino Resort. Get outdoors and take a journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway to discover hiking trails and spectacular waterfalls, walk the shoreline trail at Lake Junaluska (29 min.), or, in the winter, go skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area (24 min). The ride to Asheville is smooth sailing with all-paved access to I-26. The closest groceries are a 30-minute drive away in Waynesville, NC, or a 14-minute drive to the market in Maggie Valley. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Maggie Valley and is approximately 55 minutes from downtown Asheville; at 5,292ft above sea level.
