There are a ton of things to do when you stay at Sunrise Haven! This lakefront rental home enjoys a highly desirable location in Lake Junaluska, a dedicated vacation haven since 1913 and a year-round resort for over forty years. Community amenities, including the swimming pool, fitness center, and boat rentals, are right out your front door. Take a 15-minute drive to explore Waynesville (10 min.), discover herds of elk at Cataloochee in Smoky Mountain National Park (45 min.), and spend an evening catching a show at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort (36 min.). Take a day trip to Asheville (33 min.) to explore its thriving culinary and art scenes and attractions such as the Biltmore Estate and River Arts District. Outdoor activities in the area include whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area (26 min). Also close by, check out Maggie Valley (15 min.), a Smoky Mountain destination town that hosts numerous seasonal events. Groceries and restaurants are easy to locate, with shopping options less than three miles away.
