Sky High exceeded every possible expectation for a rental property. We had everything we needed, and then some! It was probably the best stocked rental home we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot in our travels! Thank you to the hosts!

Sky High is a super cute cottage with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Conveniently Close to Hatley Point. Highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Stayed here with some friends and family for a few days. Beautiful views and a perfect location. About 40 min from Asheville and there are many hiking trails everywhere. Would visit again.

We enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable for our group of 7. The entertainment area downstairs provided a great place to relax and spend time together after long days out hiking and enjoying the area. We would stay here again.

It’s a beautiful mountain home and was comfortable for our family to spend a couple of nights attending a wedding in the area. The drive was a bit of a challenge as we flew in at night. The hairpin turns were daunting as we were not used to mountain driving. But the view was gorgeous up there

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cabin was quiet and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. The home was fully furnished with everything we needed to relax. A bit far from civilization but that was what we wanted. Our only issue was that the water pressure was poor. The property management company sent someone to assess immediately and help alleviate the problem as best as they could.

The cabin has everything you need to entertain a family. We found a great tubing place close by for the kids and went on a hike around the property every day. The road into the property is a beautiful and slow-winding switchback.

I had a great time! We explored the towns, Mars Hill and Marshall. Also, I love the decorations in the house. It snowed! We had so much fun snow tubing!

We had an amazing time here at Sky High. We read through the Sky High travel book and went on a mile hike. We used some of the puzzles downstairs. We went to the Zip 'N Slip snow tubing and had a great time. I and my family were here for Christmas and it would be nice if there was a tree, yes there was one, but it is quite small and can't fit anything under. The recreation room was entertaining and we had a blast!

Beautiful home and the view is amazing, especially at sunset time the hot tub was very nice as well and we absolutely loved the downstairs it was such a cool room also, the toilet paper was the softest we have ever felt! highly recommend this home!

Cabin was very comfortable with all of the amenities. Lots of things to do without having to go any where. THE VIEW! That was the best view that we have had in any mountain cabin. The sunsets were absolutely amazing to watch each evening.

Thank you so much for this cabin. Honestly, this is the best cabin my family has ever stayed at. I love the game room. I played pool with my dad, and played the arcade with my mom. I was shocked when I discovered that the arcade had 60 Games!!!! Anyway, very cozy cabin. We stayed a week. We will definitely be back.

The cabin and the location were absolutely beautiful. Splendid views, great air, very clean space, fully equipped kitchen, and when I say fully, I mean fully. But not just the kitchen, the entire cabin was made for rest, relaxation, and also tons of fun. The entertainment floor and the hot tub; perrrfect! Not to mention the complimentary passes to various surrounding attractions. My only complain is not staying indoors more and enjoying the cabin to its fullest hahaha. We may have to take another trip to do that. Also, ensure you follow the directions up the mountain, these were crystal clear! Every time the GPS said something different, we defaulted to the provided directions and found the cabin super easily. The 4WD vehicle wasn't necessary for us as the weather conditions didn't require it (no snowy or icy roads), but this may very well be different for you, so do your due diligence and check before opting to not have this vehicular capability. Certainly looking forward to our next visit.

"This cabin was absolutely beautiful and there are so many spaces for a large group! The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and everything we needed to cook a ton of meals. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very comfy. I would suggest bringing a Firestick, Roku, etc if you want to watch any streaming services because there are no smart TVs for that or extra HDMI cords. The views are spectacular and the porches are just stunning. The hot tub was very nice in late January as it was snowy and cold outside. Not having four wheel drive is ok but if it gets snowy or icy, I would highly suggest having at least all wheel drive. Waze (GPS app) actually took me right to the upper parking lot based on the actual address so I didn't have to follow the written instructions too closely. Overall this cabin was just fantastic!"

"Initially, coming to this cabin on Friday the 13th made everyone a bit uneasy, but once we entered we were amazed besides the spooky atmosphere, I'm glad we came here. "This place is amazing! We had 5 guests with us, but the cabin can EASILY fit 10! It has an amazing view from the back porch and the pool table and hot tub downstairs were just the cherries on top. We had a tight schedule the day we were checking in and they even let us check in early with no problem! We will definitely be returning."

This is a great property for a Smoky Mountain retreat. The house is super nice and very well equipped. It is decorated really well and the kitchen has everything you need. The game room is awesome and will keep you occupied for hours. The view of threw mountains are spectacular and it is close enough to Asheville that it isn't a problem getting there but far enough away to truly relax. Found excellent restaurants in the old downtown of Mars Hill. Highly recommend Stack House and Baad Sheep. Didn't get a chance to try Papa Nick's Italian restaurant but here's good stuff and still go next time.

"Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. Our family enjoyed our visit to the area very much. We went rafting on the French Broad River with USA Raft - great time! We did some hiking and saw some amazing waterfalls (High Falls, Triple Falls, and Hooker Falls) and went on a relaxing float trip down the French Broad River (Zen Tubing). The weather was fantastic and the area is beautiful. We loved coming back to relax every evening and enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and breathtaking views. "

Had a great ski weekend at Sky High. Unfortunately the ski area next to the house is closed. Out of business I guess. You have to drive down the mountain and go to the other side of the mountain to Wolf Ridge. Very old and run down facility. Not a great experience there. But we had a good time at the house. Beautiful views and house is fully equipped as stated. One of the nicer cabins we have stayed at in NC. Simple and easy access to the house and good communication.

Met my brother and his family from Tennessee for Christmas for an extended weekend. Plenty of room in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the game room in the basement as well as the hot tub. Spent some time touring Biltmore and downtown Asheville only 30 minutes away. Made breakfast and lunch in the cabin. We will be back!!!
