Serenade Shores

We are in Brevard often to visit elderly family at College Walk. This home is beyond welcoming! We always book for the max occupancy to get “the little women” out for a family meal. This year we did a Nutcracker Tea. Gorgeous place, fabulous kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms. Serenade Shores for the “early Christmas” win! Our dog adored the walks around the pond, too!

Beautiful house and even better surroundings! The house itself was immaculate and had everything you can think of that you would need to make your stay comfortable. The pond and surrounding area were picturesque and loaded with fish! Looking forward a return trip!

We stayed at Serenade Shores for 5 nights, 20-25 October 2025, and had a great time. The location is very convenient and while staying there we took a number of day trips. We went to Lake Junaluska, Brevard, Hendersonville, and Greenville South Carolina. We had a lot of great food including some top bakery. The home was very comfortable with 2 master suites, bathrooms in suite. We very much enjoyed “Porch Therapy” in the evenings and woke up to misty mountain mornings. Colleen was a superb host who was very responsive when we had text communication. Serenade Shores was a 5 Star experience for us in every way! This was our second visit and we plan to come again!

This property was amazing. It is in a remote setting, literally right next to a beautiful stocked pond. My son basically fished from sun up to sun down and caught some monster largemouth bass! I would highly recommend if you are just trying to get away from the busyness of life.

Kitchen was well stocked with silverware, cookware, and small appliances. Especially liked that they provided several items not usually found when booking a cabin (colander, cookie sheets, 9x13 glass pans) and lots of cooking utensils. Bathrooms had very nice towels, and they even provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as a hair dryer in each bathroom. Very peaceful, private, and quiet setting, and plenty of room for pets to exercise if you bring a dog. Centrally located to main roads, making it easy to venture out in any direction. Lots of beautiful waterfalls in the area, and highly recommend McCall's Produce for the best sweet corn we ever had, and it is only 3 miles from the cabin, plus they have an ice cream shop in the back that has amazing Peach ice cream!! Ingles grocery store is a 5-minute drive and is a very nice store.

Our family loved this cabin! We came in the summer when trees and plants were in full bloom. This created a very fun and private environment. It was super peaceful. The little pond was great for fishing and our kids even caught a 4lb largemouth bass! We would definitely come back!

We’ve stayed at Serenade Shores multiple times now, and it continues to be our favorite mountain retreat. The home is always spotless, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared for guests—including our four-legged family members, which makes all the difference. Nestled in a quiet, wooded area near Hendersonville and Brevard, Serenade Shores offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The layout is ideal for families or couples traveling together—with two master suites on opposite sides of the house, everyone gets their own private retreat. The expansive porch overlooking the pond is our happy place—we’ve spent countless hours out there soaking in the peaceful view. It’s serene, pet-friendly, and full of thoughtful touches that keep us coming back time and again. We stayed at Serenade Shores. The rental was immaculately cleaned. No creepy crawlies whatsoever. Linens and towels were clean and smelled fresh. Kitchen is stocked well. Very private location. The porch overlooks the pond. We sat for hours in the rocking chairs listening to the bullfrogs or the patter of the rain. There is also a cute little waterfall with a fire pit next to it. A Crawfish lives in the basin of the waterfall. We named him Gerald. Walking trail around the pond. Great location, within a 30 min. radius of many waterfall hiking trails and the city of Asheville. This cabin looks like it is either very new or just recently remodeled. We are thinking of making this our yearly get away. We loved it that much!

We absolutely loved our stay! One of our favorite AirBnbs ever! The house is absolutely lovely. The double suites on each side of the house were so convenient. The kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked with blender, mixer, pans, etc. We were so excited about the gas stove since we did cook a lot. We felt right at home. The private pond and property is so incredibly peaceful. Opening the windows at night felt like turning on a favorite sound machine of nature sounds. The little waterfall/fire pit area was our favorite place to have our morning coffee. Plus you’re in the land of waterfalls with several in a 20-min radius. 10/10 property plus super responsive and helpful hosts. We’d come back to this place anytime!

Absolutely one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin at Serenade Cove was gorgeous, spacious, and outfitted to the nines, nearly brand new from the looks of it, featuring two master suites each with its own bath. There was also a loft upstairs with additional sleeping accommodations. The grandkids loved it. The big deck out front overlooks a pond and that was a big hit as well. The space inside and the deck make it ideal for entertaining. We had a couple from the area over along with my brother and his wife and everyone had a great time. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated so that DuPont State Forest, Pigsah Forest, and Brevard are all a short drive away. In the other direction, Hendersonville is about a 20 minute drive. Highly recommended vacation spot!

We have stayed at this property 3 different times and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. From the moment we first arrived at Serenade Shores in 2022, we knew we had found a really special place. It's exactly as described and the best rental property we've ever stayed in. Our dog Coby loved everything about it as well, especially the multiple daily walks around the pond. Brevard is a lovely town, with a thriving downtown area and it's very dog friendly. We hiked in both Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Park - so many beautiful waterfalls! Also took two separate day trips to Lake Jocassee in upstate SC and Lake Glenville, NC. Rented pontoons at both and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water. Chris and Colleen are wonderful hosts and the house contains everything you could possibly need during your vacation. Can't wait for our fourth stay this coming August.

We have been coming here for several years and will be back again this year in the fall. This has become an annual vacation and this has become our home away from home. The location is ideal for getting into town and hiking any of the trails. The layout of the home is perfect for families or couples. It comes with everything you need to feel like home. The property itself is what makes it the perfect getaway. Lots of room for our dog to be outside and have logged many hours rocking in the chairs on the porch looking over the pond. The host has been great to deal with as well. Can’t say enough great things about it!

With a name like Serenity Cove, it is no wonder that we have been return guests since our first stay in 2019. Tucked away on its own 4 acres, overlooking a restful pond (stocked with catch and release fish), the house welcomes you with two king master suites, each with its own bath - perfect for two couples. There is also a spacious loft upstairs with additional sleeping options. A modern kitchen with all the amenities, overlooks a great room with stunning views through the wall of glass. A long covered deck, complete with rocking chairs, gas grill and dining table, allows you to blend right into nature. There are restful nooks throughout the property, with the soothing sounds of a small waterfall, firepit area and bench over looking the pond. The owners have done an outstanding job of creating a truly serene atmosphere while investing in a beautifully comfortable home. Thank you for sharing!

We've stayed at Serenade Shores twice now and wouldn't hesitate to come back. There are 2 very comfortable King bedrooms plus a loft upstairs. Each bedroom has a private bathroom to allow for privacy. The kitchen is well accommodated and fully stocked and the laundry is great to have to allow you to pack less (important for our family). The lake is such a bonus and the fishing dock is great to spend quiet time-the frogs will serenade you. Location is quite private yet close enough to wherever you'd like to go whether it be hiking in the mountains or dining at a favorite spot. The Biltmore is also relatively close. We love staying here and will be back. You will love it too!

This was our second time to stay here and we really loved the comfort and location of this property. It’s quiet, overlooking a pond, and convenient to several viewing areas of ghost fireflys! Convenient to shop local towns and quite cozy with its king sized beds and fireplace. We recommend this place for a quiet getaway or exploring the area ! We will be back!!
