This house was an excellent place for our vacation. It was missing toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher soap. When we contacted the hosts, they said they provide “just enough to get started. Overall, the stay was still excellent for multiple families.

We had a great time! It's a beautiful place to stay and is surrounded by views in all directions. Inside is super cute and reminded us a lot of "Grandma's house." If we go back to Asheville, I'd definitely stay here again!

the cutest little getaway barn in the most perfect area.. you feel secluded in the hills yet you’re not at all far from the city!! only think to note is the hot water in the shower lasts all of about 5 min but other than that this was the perfect stay :) would definitely book again

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn. Cozy little cabin perfect for two. It was close enough to town to be very convenient if you needed to run out for something but felt very remote. There is even another cabin and a few homes close by, but it’s all so tucked in the trees that it feels very private and remote. The cabin was clean and had everything that the listing stated it offered. Having a full kitchen saved us from spending a ton of money on eating out for every meal. That being said, if you intend to do a lot of cooking, I would recommend bringing a good sharp knife and maybe a trusty cast iron skillet with you. The cabin has knives and skillets, and while they will get you through, they’re not great. The only other note I would give is that the water gets VERY hot, which is nice but it does not last long. If you are a couple staying here, you’ll have to plan to space out your showers or one of you isn’t getting a hot shower. 🥶 All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

The Red Barn was so cozy! We felt so relaxed and at home while staying there. All the privacy and quiet of a mountain cabin but just a short ride to downtown Asheville for all the best restaurants and shopping. The bed and couch were super comfy, plenty of amenities, and the decor was so kitschy and cute! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! Very peaceful and still had good access to activities and restaurants downtown! They recommend avoiding a low-clearance vehicle for accessing the property, and we did not have a low-clearance vehicle, but the drive up the gravel drive was troublesome the first night- loose gravel made it difficult for the car to gain purchase. We did make it up eventually! But overall, it was an amazing weekend vacation and we felt right at home.

My wife and I stayed at the Red Barn for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was private, yet close to great restaurants and necessities, and the Red Barn was exactly as described. It was great for a mountain getaway. Sharon, the owner of the property, was accommodating and kind! The only damper on our stay was that there was some construction just down the road from us and the company was drilling to put in new telephone poles, so some mornings we were woken up to the sound of construction. While this wasn’t Sharon's or Carolina Mornings’ fault, it was a little disappointing not being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the serene surroundings. Sharon was very nice and came to apologize for all the noise personally and made sure we had everything we needed! Hopefully, they will be wrapped up soon so the next residents can enjoy this wonderful little cabin! If we find ourselves in the Asheville area, we would love to stay here again!

Highly recommend booking your stay at the Red Barn. It is perfect for a 3-night stay. It’s a great location just out of town. Very quiet and cozy. We were able to visit the Biltmore, hike a little on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Visit some breweries, and run a New Year's Day 5K.

We had a great stay at the Red Barn cabin. The red barn decorations throughout the cabin were like being in a little country store -- adorable decor everywhere we looked. The cabin is very private with a wonderful porch where I spent hours crafting. I absolutely loved the included Mountains Discovery Pass which I used to visit Biltmore twice. Absolutely Loved our time at the Red Barn cabin. The location was great, close to downtown, with great restaurants and the Biltmore, but still quiet and secluded. We loved sitting on the porch every day and taking in the incredible view. Great communication and clear instructions from the host, not to mention the complimentary Biltmore Pass! The cabin was also much easier to locate than expected. Clean and cozy, overall a great experience. We were so sad to leave, and we can't wait to visit again!

Nice quiet getaway for two. Definitely would want an AWD or 4WD to get in. Cabin was nice and cozy. Check in was very easy. Has everything we needed. The neighborhood that you have to drive through to get there would be a deterrent but once you get past that and up to the cabin it’s nice and secluded. Totally enjoyed our last minute getaway. My husband and I decided a trip to the mountains was in order and chose Red Barn as our property to rent. It was exactly as the pictures showed; it was quiet; it was quaint and it was cozy. It was the right distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city and it was not a bad drive to wherever we wanted to go. The road and hill leading to the cabin was just as described, but we didn’t have any issues at all. We really enjoyed every minute of our stay and we recommend the Red Barn highly!

We're transplanted Virginians and have only been in NC 2 years. This is our first trip to Asheville...we're celebrating 30 great years of marriage. Cute litte cabin in the woods, it was pretty easy to find. When you make the right onto Pathfinder Lane fork left and then fork slight right by the first cabin as it's a loop to get in and out of the property. AWD is a must to reach the cabin so make sure you have an SUV. Ingles supermarket was a quick 10 minute drive (awesome grocery store). The Blue Ridge Parkway was about 40 minutes away with breathtaking views and the city of Ashville was within a 20 minute drive.

We were only in for 2 nights for Asheville/Pigeon Forge-Smokies quick visit. Red Barn was clean, well kept, bed was firm (liked that), pillows a bit soft but tough to get right for everyone's liking. Easy entry w key hanging at door. Carolina Mornings was incredibly helpful with very proactive communications. Totally spot on about directions - I screenshot them so we could follow once service got interrupted. Great tip! Maybe we missed a few signs entering the property but had to try a few times to find our cabin. Definitely SUV type helpful, not necessarily 4 wheel drive, but the sloped gravel road presented a bit of challenge to our rented Rav4 getting thru some of the washout ruts from the rain the night before. Very peaceful, safe area. Cozy cabin. A bit further away off the main roads than we realized but became an easier drive after the 1st time. Was harder to find once dark.

"Our stay in the cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. We especially loved sitting on the porch in the afternoons, listening to the rain on the roof. It was a perfect spot to read and have a cup of tea. We also enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit. It's off the beaten path, which is perfect if you are wanting a bit of privacy. We quickly got used to the drive up and down the mountain. It's about 20 to 30 minutes from town, and the drive is beautiful. The cabin came equipped with all the basics to prepare food. It was so nice to make some lentil soup on one of the cool, rainy evenings. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We had a lovely anniversary trip. The Red Barn property was cozy, comfortable, private, and just what we were looking for. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the rocking chairs sipping coffee in the mornings. Everyone that we spoke with at Carolina Mornings was extremely friendly and helpful, which we definitely appreciated. We had such a wonderful time that we ended up staying an extra night. This is our second year using Carolina Mornings and we plan to use them again in the future."

This was a couples getaway and knowing we could participate in the other activities such as zip lining sealed the deal. Vacation Planner Molly is wonderful. Zip line /rafting Company: VERY PROFESSIONAL!
