Great house, nice layout, great location. 4WD during inclement weather isn't a joke. Someone pulled our minivan over the hill. We had chains on the front tires, but only a 2WD vehicle. The parking area appears spacious enough for one vehicle at the home, with a large parking lot located at the top.

Beautiful cabin, well decorated, plenty of games and things to do inside, clean and the view is amazing. I will warn you that we came during a snowy November evening and you definitely need 4WD to get up if there is light snow (wouldn’t recommend going in worse weather) - we actually had quite the adventure getting up because one of our cars didn’t make it up the mountain in the snow (yes it was 2 wheel drive 🤦‍♀️) and we got rescued by a local firefighter and his 6wheel ATV. In good weather conditions, 2 wheel drive should still be ok, there are steep parts up the mountain but manageable. Follow the instructions that will be sent and take Wolf Ridge rd and not the shorter route on GPS (it’s steeper).

Absolutely beautiful cabin, very clean and great parking right in front . A bit further out than we wanted to go, but the drive was scenic and we just tried to make sure we did everything we needed to do while we were out. I would definitely come back and stay again.!

Great views, a lot of things to do inside the house such as board games, pool table, foosball table, watching TV and relaxing in the hot tub. Also had an outstanding kitchen with a lot of dinnerware.

Fantastic home! We had a last-minute change of plans due to Hurricane Debby and Carolina Mornings came to the rescue! Peaceful, cozy, and has a stunning view. Family-friendly and all-around a great place to relax. Would love to book again!

I have never been to North Carolina, but let me say it was beautiful, especially if you are trying to see a view. We had friends from there, and it was more impressive than spoken about. It was humbling to see the people of the land have an abundance of kindness that never ends. I will come back one day.

We had the perfect time staying at Points of View! As a group of 8, we needed space and this place had everything- From a kitchen equipped with everything we could need for cooking, 3 spacious outdoor decks with lots of seating options, & a large table to fit us all for dining or games, to the game area downstairs with a custom-designed pool table and foosball. The sleeping accommodations were good, and they gave you all the information you could possibly need prior to arrival. The best part? A gorgeous view throughout the entire stay! We were all very impressed with Points of View, and can’t wait to book our next stay with Carolina Mornings!

Beautiful spacious cabin with amazing views! All you need for a great vacation. Convenient location (20 - 45 min) to hikes, Ashville, water activities, supermarket, etc. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family

Gorgeous views, beautiful place -- tastefully decorated, well-stocked kitchen and well laid out to accommodate group needs. Everything is as described. The hot tub was also great. It's a little tricky to get up the mountain, I would recommend trying to arrive during daylight if you can, but the detailed instructions provided got us there without a hitch. Well worth the extra distance to/from Asheville. We enjoyed it so much that on 2 days we scrapped our plans to see more of the area in favor of just staying in and enjoying the peaceful vistas.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Points of View! We enjoyed a three-night stay and very much enjoyed the area! The Biltmore Estate was incredible and a bucket list item we crossed off our list. The rest of the time was spent enjoying conversation and the hot tub, reading a good book on the porch, making amounts of coffee, watching movies on HBO Max, and simply enjoying the matchless view. We are definitely hoping to come back.

Definitely would return to this cabin! The kitchen had everything we needed. The decoration added to a perfect cabin feel. I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain experience.

We really enjoyed our stay and I would certainly recommend staying here! The views are stunning and you see sunsets over the mountains from the balcony every night. Everything was pristinely cleaned, and in great shape, and the beds & sheets were actually so comfortable. The cabins in the area are part of an abandoned ski resort so I would recommend exploring some of the old structures around, it's quite interesting!

Just as described. Clean and beautiful place. Gorgeous views!! I wish we had a bit more time to explore the area bit but we were only there for a quick weekend getaway! We did get a chance to go snow tubing and enjoy the cabin amenities to the fullest. Definitely pack whatever food you think you might need and then some prior to heading up that mountain!! The trek up & down the mountain is no joke and the nearest grocery store is roughly a 15-20 minute drive. My family and I look forward to returning and trying out the cabin in the summer months!!

"The location of this property is amazing. You need to drive carefully to reach this destination because of its location in the mountains but it is so worth the drive. The Appalachian house is nicely appointed with everything you need for a little getaway. The weather was a little cool so we were able to turn on the fireplace each evening, work on a crazy puzzle, play some fun card games, enjoy adult refreshments, and just chat. With four in our group, we each had our own bedroom with two of us sharing the upstairs bath. The accommodations were quite comfortable; we would give this property a very high recommendation."

"The cabin was great and large enough for a family of five to spread out and every kid had their own room. The pool table, foosball table and hot tub were a hit with the kids!! The view from the back deck was amazing, especially the sunsets! The cabin is within about 25 min from Asheville. We were able to go to the Biltmore, Grove Park Inn and horseback riding. You definitely need to plan meals ahead and have what you need before you head up the mountain. We stopped at the grocery store in Asheville. There did not seem like much to do in the area around the cabin. The Wolf Laurel Ski Lodge was closed for the season- there were no warmer weather activities. Overall our activities in Asheville, the cabin and the view were a winning combination!!"

"If you want a real mountain getaway, this is it. Look no further. This is as authentic as it gets. It's breath taking the views and the height.
