We loved staying so close to the ski resort. The view is amazing, and you can't beat the location. We had an easy time finding the cabin and checking in. There were a couple of small issues with the sheets and hot tub that Carolina Mornings took care of immediately! Read the listing on service and wifi - it was one of the only hard parts in planning our days. We will be back to Hatley Pointe!

Great views and very clean... kind of out near nothing so bring everything you need as we found out the hard way. No condiments at the lodge so if grilling bring your own!

Wow, what an absolute gem! This Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. The photos are stunning but trust us, they don't do justice to the breathtaking view that awaits you. The moment we stepped into the property, we were blown away by the panoramic views that seemed to stretch on forever. We had a great experience. We’re from Miami and wanted to escape the spring break crowd from Miami. We disconnected from the city and were able to explore the private property along with its surrounding neighborhoods. Thanks for everything!

We had a great stay! We had a small problem with the fireplace upon arrival but they made it right for us and were friendly about it. If I’m being picky, I wish they would have had wine glasses but we made due. A tip for future renters is to be sure and get your provisions before settling in. It’s pretty far from a decent grocery store. All in all, my family had a wonderful time and would come back. Thank you!

Nice cabin with great views. Not really any places to walk the dogs. Very secluded and kind of far from civilization. Close to the ski resort but had no snow (December).

The high-ceiling windows in the living room were gorgeous! They provided us with the most beautiful scenic view of the mountains! We also loved the balconies on each level!

Plenty of space for my family of 5 to spread out. Very comfy living spaces. Very clean and well-stocked kitchen. The only downside is it's a 20-30+ min drive to any restaurant/store. However, we brought all our supplies with us, so just enjoyed staying in the cabin.

Thank you for a fantastic place to call home. The setting was perfect. What a joy to read with such a lovely view, although the super comfy couches led to a few naps instead of reading.. Will definitely be back and recommend it to my friends.

Very well appointed cabin with all the necessary appliances. Spacious and pleasant with an incredible view of the nearby mountains. The road to get to the cabin is steep and challenging at night but the location is worth it! Perfect for up to 8 people looking for a relaxing stay.

"Family Gathering from Eastern NC and KY - Great mid point. The views are wonderful and the cabin fantastic. Strongly recommend Mt. Mitchell if you feel like making the drive and climbing. Jenga on the picnic table was fun. Only found one or two ""Army-man"" easter eggs. Good luck in your search for more!"

"We stayed over three nights in two cabins for a large family group of twenty-seven. We are celebrating our mother and grandmother's 80th birthday. We enjoyed family games, hiking, some fun pranks as well as some amazing meals together. Yesterday we went to the Biltmore and had a wonderful afternoon and evening. The weather has been cool and foggy and perfect for our stay. What fabulous memories our family has made here! Thanks for a beautiful home to celebrate such a wonderful event!"

"Lookout Lodge was perched high in the mountains and we literally had a great ""look"" at the mountain-scape around us. The lodge was a beautifully appointed log cabin with all of the amenities that anyone could ask for. Although 20-30 minutes from Asheville, the ride through the mountains and countryside made it seem less than that. Everything was perfect. Carolina Mornings Staff were very engaging and supportive throughout our stay. We look forward to visiting Asheville again and will stay with Carolina Mornings."

The property was largely unusable and far below the standard expected for the price. - the lower floor was extremely cold--the balcony door had been left open and the room was freezing cold. Even after turning the heater on to max temperature, very faint airflow was coming out of all vents in that floor. All while the upper level was being heated up (extreme heat imbalance). - we immediately reported the issue but no one did anything that night. next morning someone showed up and replaced a filter but absolutely nothing changed. Furthermore, no heater was provided during our stay. - two of the three single beds were unusable due to poor quality mattresses. So HALF OF THE BEDS WERE UNUSABLE (4 of 9). Furthermore, - pod coffee machine did not work - images are misleading--they exaggerate the actual size and space of the property. - the host was slow and unhelpful in resolving the issues. This has caused us extreme discomfort, and pretty much ruined our trip.

Hello Saba, Thank you for your review, and we are sorry to hear your stay with us was less than ideal for your recent weekend getaway. Regarding the heating at the property, following a call with concerns our maintenance team went out but found the system to be functioning normally. This home is a 3-story house and due to heat rising, the 1st floor is naturally cooler than the top floor, and we apologize this made for an uncomfortable stay. The size of the home Regarding the coffee machine we had no reports of a concern, and we apologize we were unable to troubleshoot this with you during your visit. We hope you otherwise had an enjoyable time in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and thank you again for your review.
