Firefly Cottage

We love this cozy cottage. The location is private and quiet, yet minutes from downtown Asheville. There is a short gravel walkway to an outdoor fire pit.

Me and my dog enjoyed our time over there. We loved how updated and peaceful the cottage was. Only disadvantage was it is so dark outside the property at night so you really need to potty your dog before sundown, maybe installing additional light will help. Hot water runs out pretty quickly so you need to mange shower time accordingly. Fridge water dispenser was not working so come prepared if you drink alot of water. Other than this we loved our stay at the cottage, my dog was sad we had to leave because this was heaven for him

I had a fantastic stay here and will look to reserve again in the future whenever I am in Asheville. Lots of space outside for fresh air and the attractions of Asheville are a very short and easy drive away. Even spotted a few wild turkeys on the property!

A beautifully restored home offering relaxation after days filled with hiking, sightseeing, or shopping and dining in downtown Asheville. Its perfect location provided a little solitude. Yet, there was only a short drive to the Biltmore, the Arboretum, and downtown. The lovely home was just as pictured and the hosts provided everything one might need for a stay away from home. Would definitely stay at Firefly Cottage on a future visit.

Lovely cabin, perfect for 2 friends wanting to explore Asheville. Serene location, far enough away to enjoy the wildlife and quiet, close enough to easily drive and Uber.

Big landscaped lawn twinkled with evening fireflies, while forest & fencing provided privacy at a small, comfortable cottage. The small porch was especially nice. Ideal location, tucked off a convenient residential road just minutes from River Arts District & downtown Asheville. The door alarm shrieked upon arrival, but the after-hours staff was responsive and quickly resolved the issue. Overall a cozy spot for 2-4 people.

The cabin was spacious and clean. The big yard gave an ambiance of privacy that can be rare to find. Although tucked away down some curving roads, only 10-15 minutes from just about anything in Asheville.

Lovely, characterful cottage, well furnished and tastefully decorated. Fully stocked kitchen. Looks exactly like the photos! The surrounding gardens are very pretty. The host was extremely professional, responsive, and friendly.

We loved our visit to Firefly Cottage! The beds were comfy, it was quiet and pretty and we saw so much wildlife. A pair of wild turkeys, deer, a groundhog, rabbits, and evidence of a bear. Asheville is wonderful. We will be back!

Wow! What a wonderful little home tucked away in the woods, but still close to the happenings at Asheville. Everything was so clean and accommodating in this one. We had such a peaceful stay with our dog.

How about a quiet, peaceful home on a nice chunk of land that is actually quite close to all that the city of Asheville has to offer? A quick drive puts you in the Arts District or downtown. A slightly longer drive gives you more hiking options than you could possibly conquer in one trip. The home itself is charming and comfortable, and the communication is top-notch. This will be a repeat destination.

Such a cute little house! It was even better in person and they had EVERYTHING we needed - even folding chairs for the fire pit! The location was perfect, both the proximity to downtown and the physical location of the house from the road - it was private and very quiet. It was our first trip to Asheville and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We will definitely use Carolina Mornings for our next Asheville adventure!
