Explore nearby downtown Waynesville (9 min), discover herds of elk at Cataloochee in Smoky Mountain National Park (37 min), and spend an evening catching a show at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort (39 min). Take a day trip to Asheville (40 min) to explore its thriving culinary and art scenes and attractions such as the Biltmore Estate and River Arts District. Outdoor activities in the area include whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area (34 min), and enjoying the 2.3-mile walking trail that circles Lake Junaluska (14 min). Copper Mountain Retreat is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance after 9:00 PM and has a very low noise tolerance, including motorcycles, and loud vehicles. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains. In addition, we kindly ask guests to turn off porch lights when not in use as it resides in a "Dark Sky Neighborhood".
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
• This property is pet friendly and allows a maximum of one dog with the payment of a non-refundable pet fee.
• Travel Insurance is Highly Recommended. During the winter months, we highly recommend you consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home. No refunds shall be provided if you cannot access the home due to winter weather.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
