Beautiful place! Quiet area. Very open and has plenty of room for everyone to hang out. We had a great time sitting around the fire pit.

Thank you for an amazing stay! Cold Creek Cottage was the perfect place for our family to gather and spend time together! We used the large table to play games and cards, we played basketball, and we cooked meals in the nice, large kitchen. Thankful that we were able to meet Shannon when we arrived - this home has such a sweet story! We can't wait to come back!

The house overall was great! An additional bathroom would have worked out better for our family & fireplace would have made it more cozy with the cold weather.

We sisters used the spacious cabin as a landing during our getaway weekend in Asheville. Each of us had a separate bedroom! The cabin had all the household features needed. Our view was stunning from every angle. This property is a jewel!

The comfort of the beds - all 5 of us agreed on that. The comfortable rocking chairs on the covered deck. The beauty of the surroundings. Beauty and comfort of the home interior. Liked the availability of indoor games and outdoor balls. Local info booklets and pamphlets too.

Thank you for the wonderful stay. This is the second year we have visited Cold Creek Cottage and hope to do it again next fall. This year we got to see a mama bear and cub in the tree, which was the total highlight of the stay. I don't want to leave! The rocking chairs on the porch were my morning spot.

Thank you Cold Creek Cottage for the wonderful stay! We had five ladies join together from across the country for a women's retreat for health and well-being. The yard was bigger and better than we expected! We had a big group with 5 kids in our party (4-yo to 10-yo), and they loved playing outside and by the pond during our downtime. The location is also perfect. Only 15 mins from grocery stores, pharmacies, Starbucks, etc but also very peaceful, quiet, and remote once you’re at the property. We were very close to Pisgah National Forest and the Biltmore Estate, as well as downtown Asheville. Overall, we would highly recommend it!

Beautiful views from a spacious porch with plenty of rockers and a hammock. Well-stocked kitchen. Kids had a great time playing outdoor games on the huge grassy area and basketball court. Great place for families!

Only 15-20 mins to downtown Asheville, yet far enough away to have amazing views. Furthermore, you can enjoy the pond and property views from the deck that wraps the house. While there, we had 3 bear sightings on the property. At one point, the momma and 3 cubs walked right across the basketball court. The property owners live nearby, so they are quick to respond to any issues. The water supply is from a spring. We didn't have any issues with our group of 5.

Spacious house with the beautiful backdrop of the Asheville mountains. Loved the open kitchen and wrap-around porch with all the rocking chairs. There was plenty of space for the family to hang out. We enjoyed the puzzles, foosball table, basketball court, and board games for entertainment. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking meals and enjoying them around the large dining room table was a highlight of our trip. We can’t say enough about the property!

The house was in a great location. Not too far from town, but far enough out for a relaxing getaway. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the pond and river and had a great time around the fire pit at night. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen was well supplied, and the house overall provided a comfortable experience.

We have a wonderful stay at this property. It was my husband and me and our four teenage children and one teenage friend. We were up for three college tours--and chose this property as our home in between trips. It was perfect for our group! Big kitchen, five bedrooms, game room, two TVs. Everyone loved it! Great location that gives you the isolated feel of the mountains without the hour-long drive to get into town. Downtown Asheville is only 15 minutes away!

A beautiful front porch with several rocking chairs are at the entrance to this lovely, clean home. There are five comfortable bedrooms a roomy living room as well as a family room. A huge kitchen and large dining table make it perfect for a large group. The house is in a quiet country setting with beautiful scenery.

This was truly a mountain getaway seeing al the wildlife to a campfire outside and a drive on the blue ridge pkw to the beautiful scenery staying in this cabin was living in the mountains but with all conveniences, we had a great time and will definitely come back again

Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is perfect...lots of open room. Our boys loved the game room, movie room and especially the basketball court! It was fun to sit out on the porch and watch the boys play. Loved the wild life that came to visit as well....I will admit, that got my heart racing abit to look out the kitchen windows and see bears in the yard!

It was a lovely trip for us and our family friends in church. House is very clean and nice space. Matress and pillows are comfortable to sleep. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Kitchen has all the things you need. It's just 17 mins away to downtown and 26mins to Biltmore Estate. Host is also responsive to our messages. We wjll stay here again if we plan our trip again to Biltmore.

My family and I had a lovely time here. We had everything we needed, and the cabin was cozy, super clean, and charming! It's perfect for families. The location is perfect too. Far away enough for that calm, nature vibe but close enough to everything we wanted to do! This home was exceptionally clean and perfectly cozy. The kitchen was stocked everything needed to make meal prep/serving easy. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the house was big enough that it never felt crowded. The front porch was huge with rocking chairs and a table large enough for meals. There were many hiking trails close by and it was an easy trip into Asheville. Shannon was an incredibly responsive host and she went above and beyond to make our Christmas extra special.

Our family was unable to be together on Christmas due to Covid. We were finally able to clear a weekend and found this beautiful home in Asheville. The house was spotless and more spacious than its description. We had the interesting experience of having a black bear momma and her three cubs join our stay for the day/night on Saturday! Shannon was gracious and quick to reply to questions before and during our stay. We definitely would love to stay here again!!
