Our stay was absolutely magical from start to finish. The property was stunning, peaceful, beautifully decorated, and surrounded by nature. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. But what made this trip unforgettable was that I got engaged here! The serene setting and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect place for such a special moment. We’ll always cherish the memories we made during our stay. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, making everything seamless and welcoming. From the lovely touches in the home to the gorgeous views, this place exceeded all our expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Pictures do NOT do it justice!! I will say you absolutely need 4WD to get up to the cabin because the hills were STEEP. Worth it tho. Also, because of the hurricane, there are “one lane” areas. They have stop lights though to let cars pass through safely. It was very private and secluded and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Some days we would go out to the hot tub and the weather would be foggy and cool and it would feel like a SPA. The cleanliness always amazing and the host responded at an appropriate timely manner. Only thing is everything is about 35-45 minutes away so be sure to really pack what you need and get groceries! We also used the grill and the whole vibes were magical. Got our moneys worth for sure and will be returning!! Ps we didn’t see any bears lol.

We had the absolute best weekend here! This was a perfect spot. I thought we were here to celebrate my best friend's birthday but ended in a surprise proposal at the top of Eagle Rock! Cozy and secluded. It was perfect for our trip to Chimney Rock. Made it up the road to the house in a 2020 Mustang with ease, even in the rain. Definitely will be back!

Bear Paw Lodge was the perfect getaway for our friend group over New Year’s weekend! The lodge has spectacular views and is located in an extremely quiet/private overlook on the mountain (but definitely take note of the driving instructions provided by the host). The lodge was spacious for three couples and had a fully equipped kitchen for meals. We thoroughly enjoyed cozy nights by the fireplace and the hot tub. The location is about 20 miles but 40 min drive to downtown Asheville. We really enjoyed visiting Chimney Rock (a cute little town nearby). Highly recommend this lodge for a quaint group getaway tucked away in the mountains!

Such a beautiful home! The views are amazing. I enjoyed the drive to the cabin, it was very mountain-like. The hot tub was a great feature too. Easy drive to Asheville and surrounding attractions.

The log cabin is great, spacious, exactly as advertised. We had no view the first day due to bad weather but inside it was cozy and warm, and Chimney Rock village and Ashville were nice to visit. The bbq and jacuzzi were also very nice. Watching the sun rise in the hot tub in the morning, fantastic. Bring your own wood and make a fire before leaving and roast marshmallows. Top. A beautiful luxurious location.

Towering as high as tree tops and weathering passing summer thunderstorms peaceably, it was the perfect weekend get away for this suburban couple. Despite having two full baths, two large bedrooms, and another bed in the loft ---which doubles as a delightful game room--- the Bear Paw Lodge fit us just right, almost as if our visit had been prepared by Goldilocks and the Three Bears themselves.

Superb!! If you brave the gravel road up the view will blow you away. Cabin had clear view of chimney rock and many other mountain ranges, can not say enough how amazing the view is. This cabin is loved by the owners, they put extra care into making sure your stay is comfortable and fun. Very well stocked, we only needed food…literally just food. Tons of games, books and other extras. We all slept great in the super comfortable beds, definitely would stay here again.

You have to have as AWD or 4WD vehicle to get there but once your there the view is amazing.

Overall the log cabin is spacious and lovely. Bear Paw cabin had a great view and the hot tub at night was great. We loved the view - you are definitely above and the log cabin is spacious. "Beautiful log cabin, very comfortable place, very peaceful environment, slightly difficult to get to high up on the mountain, very steep and narrow gravel road, I was glad I never encountered another car on my way up.
