The property was exactly as it is pictured in the photos, very well equipped and cozy. Perfect for 4 people. Be mindful that the road to get fo the cabin is kind of scary at night

Our family of four just wrapped up a long weekend stay at Adventure of a Lifetime, and let’s say the name delivers on the promise! We needed a day or two of relaxation by the fireplace, and we got that as we watched the autumn leaves fall from the trees through the large windows surrounding the home. The home has all the amenities we needed, so we didn’t feel like we forgot anything. The location can’t be beat. It’s close enough to towns like Saluda, Flat Rock and Asheville to keep you busy, but remote enough to feel like you are getting the quiet time you need away from a busy life. And the view! You can’t top it. Perfect home for a young family looking for a mountain getaway. Cozy, quaint and well maintained. We will stay here again!

This place was great! It was perfect for our little vacation. The house was very nice and clean. The view of the mountains was beautiful!!! If we ever go back to Saluda or the area, again, we will definitely be staying here! Also, the first morning we were there, the fireplace went out. The communication was so quick. They had a tech call us within 5 minutes and he was out within the hour. I would highly recommend staying here!

The views are beautiful! Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. TV reception was spotty. But that can happen in the mountains.

Very lovely place in a very peaceful town. We made the right choice in the location. The cabin was perfect for our family of four but it can certainly fit a slightly larger family. The weather was great upon arrival and departure and the last few days in the middle of that weather was far from perfect the cabin was so cozy that we felt right at home.

We had a great stay! It was a little tricky getting to the house the first time, but was exactly what we wanted! Something nice, but off the beaten path. Nice and quiet, beautiful scenery! The house was spotless! And excellent upkeep! Would highly recommend and we will surely be back!!

We had a fantastic stay at the cozy cabin! The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. Several scenic hiking trails with streams and impressive waterfalls were just a short drive away. Asheville and Hendersonville are also nearby and worth exploring, and a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway is an absolute must. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with the charm of small-town living. We hope to visit again!!!

The mountain cabin was beautiful! Loved sitting on the porch, hearing the birds, and seeing the gorgeous views. Saw some deer and turkeys during our stay. Close to Bradley hiking trails and not too far from town. The car got pretty dusty from driving up and down the road, but it was worth it!

The mountain views will not disappoint. Peaceful and beautiful cabin. High up in the mountains. A gas fireplace, fire pit, and propane grill are perfect amenities.

Amazing cabin! We enjoyed our escape to the woods so very much. Everything was close from trails to the town of Saluda to grocery stores. The cabin is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking!

The property sits on a beautiful and peaceful lot. We loved sitting outside on the back porch to enjoy our early morning coffee. It's very serene and the views of the mountains are beautiful. We took many hikes around the property, met some very friendly neighbors, and also enjoyed roasting marshmallows out by the fire pit at night. The home is well stocked with all the essentials and we were pleased with the cleanliness and quality of the home items. They provided enough kitchen and bath supplies for our entire stay. The cabin is a relatively close drive to the charming town of Saluda. But it's also convenient to most of the local attractions. We would stay here again.

We stayed for three nights. It was our first family vacation with our newborn. What a relaxing experience! The smell of wood when you walk in really puts you in the mood of being in the outdoors. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, so well designed. It’s neat and clean, the beds are super comfortable and has everything you can possibly need including fully stocked kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer, which was wonderful to come home with everything clean in our luggage. We arrived in the later afternoon, and the sunset on the balcony is breathtaking. Not to mention waking up in the morning to the most beautiful, abundant light. The living area has really high ceilings so it feels like the place is huge. There’s a sweet TV room where we watched movies at night and it felt really cozy. But we spent most of our time on the large balcony patio area outside. That’s where we grilled and had dinner and enjoyed our morning coffee. The little town of Saluda is super close by and very quaint. So many places to eat and there’s cute little shops to check out. We also drove to Asheville one day, which is not far at all, for a busier more bustling city experience. We are already talking about coming back and having another stay during a colder time of year so that we can sit outside and enjoy the fire pit and indoor fireplace. Overall…love this cabin!

A beautiful peaceful cabin about 15 min outside of Saluda was a perfect base for my family of three during a visit to relatives in the area.

Wow!!! Adventure of a Lifetime, was exactly as the name implies and much, much more!! We spent 3 extraordinary nights in this incredibly designed cabin that feels like it came straight out of a design magazine. The bed was very comfortable, especially after a fun-filled day tubing down the Green River with the Green Rover Cove Tubing outfit. We also enjoyed a wonderful easy hike to an unforgettable overlook with view of a majestic waterfall. Many animals sightings were encountered to make this wild adventure even more authentic. The kitchen was fully-equipped, you can tell the owners are very conscious of their guests having everything at their disposal and fingertips. WiFi available and worked seamlessly. The town of Saluda was absolutely charming with a very nice market that had all the essentials, and to boot there were a handful (area population of 800;) of adorable bistros and shops to peruse. In summary, my family cannot wait to return to this, “Adventure of a Lifetime!”

Charming, welcoming and cozy… That’s the only way to describe this epic mountain escape. From a breathtaking front porch view of a majestic mountain skyline, to a cabin filled with anything, and everything you would find in your own home, (and even more) — this was the perfect getaway. It’s nestled off a country road easy to navigate and truly gives one the feeling of getting away from it all. The space is immaculate, stocked with all the essentials, and a few added accents that just makes you smile. There is an attention to detail in every corner… including subtle windowsill lighting from a mason jar. The fireplace is a treasure… the beds are super comfortable… the bathrooms easy to unpack and settle into — and the kitchen is modern.. and fun to use. Cannot wait to escape there once again.

Adventure of a life time is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is near zip lining and close to all the lovely restaurants and bars of the area. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets in the apartment. The whole place made us feel at ease. The host was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when they welcomed us. I would definitely come again!

Though she be but small, she is mighty! I spent the week celebrating a belated Christmas with my family (thanks, Covid), and this house was fantastic. Nothing like a fireplace and cozy blankets to help you reset! We even got caught in a snowstorm which was pretty magical. While most city folk probably wouldn't appreciate being stuck at home, we could not have asked for something more special than the thrill of stocking the fridge (and the liquor cabinet) and preparing to hunker down. The property's neighbor, Charlotte, even came over and invited us to go sledding! Haven't done that in years! The view from the cabin is gorgeous and serene and perfect for when you need to escape the hustle and bustle of the real world. If you're looking for a place to hunker down with a few friends and some bevies and some board games, you've found it. Could not recommend more!

Loved!! Brand new beautiful house, loved decoration and spectacular views. Close enough to everything yet remote and peaceful. We had an amazing day at the Marked Tree Vineyard a short drive. Town of Saludo super cute!! Zip lining around the corner. Perfect get away enjoy beautiful nature and relaxation. Loved the fire pit!! Cant wait to go back!!

Wow! Stayed for 3 nights with 2 other friends and we had a great time. The cabin is a short drive to The Gorge Zip Line and the super cute town of Saluda. We drove into Asheville and did some brewery visits and great hikes (Chimney Rock) as well. Everything is a manageable (30-40 minute) drive from the house. And the house is impeccable, decorated beautifully and so comfortable and peaceful. This place is the best of both worlds. Calm surroundings while you’re there but close to all the fun AVL has to offer.

Great experience at adventure of a lifetime NC. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Peaceful and accommodating environment. It was just the two of us but could accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Beautiful views and hiking areas and they even have a Teahouse down the mountain. The town is quaint and it’s an Andy Griffin Mayberry kinda vibe with internet. Cute restaurants in Saluda. We stopped at the general store and the mayor was the cashier. It’s a hoot! Can’t wait to return.

Our stay in Saluda N.C., was all about relaxation! Our cabin was luxurious! 1st night was just the two of us cuddling in front of the fireplace until falling asleep. Our host made sure we had everything we needed, with plenty comfort and tranquility! Sitting on the couch looking out over the mountains is spectacular! We sat out on the deck, playing a board game and having some great wine, Made our days perfect. We also enjoyed downtown Saluda and Thompsons General Store. This was a great getaway spot for our vacation. The cabin is nestled in the mountain with a great view. The Inside is so comfy, the 4 of us didn’t want to leave. We spotted a herd of deer one night on the drive up. The surroundings are quiet, serene and beautiful but there are fun things to check out nearby, like the town of Saluda and the forest nearby. The most relaxing vacation I’ve had in a while.

All of us felt the price was great. The location was relaxing and beautiful, just what we needed. All that wood inside and out of the log home provided a cozy feel. The location might seem a bit remote to some, but we found that it was, in part, why the place was so peaceful. The furnishings and bedding are comfortable. We did deal with a dozen-or-so houseflies and found several clumps of long black hair in the downstair shower. Carolina Mornings was responsive throughout the process, so I feel they would have resolved those issues had we chosen to ask.
