Event Watch: Asheville Oktoberfest!

Asheville Oktoberfest: A Bavarian Celebration!
October is just around the corner, and we're getting super excited for the Fall Festivals that come with it! Oktoberfest, one of the best of the bunch, is slated to return to Downtown Asheville on October 7th of this year - read on for more information about this Bavarian celebration!
When and Where
On October 7th, 2017, Pack Square Park will play host to Asheville's version of Oktoberfest. From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, folks from all over the area and beyond will gather together to celebrate German tradition, German food, and local beer, brewed in the German style! Tons of seasonal ale will be yours for the sampling, and the energy at the event is sure to be jovial!
What to Expect
Asheville's eclectic culture will mix and mingle with German tradition in the beautiful streets of Downtown Asheville, so you can expect a unique experience. This is a ticketed event, and only folks 21 and older can attend (beer is at the heart of the festival, after all). Yodeling and Polka will form the auditory backdrop and super popular Oktoberfest games will be going on all day. Try your hand at the Brezel Toss (Pretzel Toss) or the Fall Roll (Keg Roll).
