Rumbling Bald Cabin

This weekend was phenomenal. My fiance brought myself, and my sisters all here for the cabin getaway I was dying for years to have! We played games, drank, and sang to the top of our lungs! And because it was my birthday everything for the first ever was all about me! Really clean! The top is all of my fiance proposed to me! I never saw it coming. It was the best surprise ever. This cabin owes us nothing!

The house was very nice and looked exactly like the pictures! Not too far from hiking places and from town. We had a very relaxing time. I appreciated the quick responses from Carolina Mornings. It was also great that they had a little fenced-in yard for the dog. He loved it!

We enjoyed the covered porch with the swing and the pool table/bar room in the basement. These 2 things made the cabin for us. The fridge came in handy by the bar and pool table. And the porch was nice to sit on at all times of the day with the ceiling fan.

We had a very enjoyable stay! The cabin was so nice and clean. The beds were super comfortable. My family and I always felt very safe in the neighborhood. We look forward to making an annual retreat to Like Lure & Fall family tradition!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the family birthdays of my granddaughters and my daughter! Very relaxing sitting on the porch, the weather was perfect! The girls enjoyed the pool table too! Everything you could need in the kitchen also!

Wonderful stay at a perfect comfortable home with all amenities. Location with proximity to other family cabins for a reunion. The beautiful resort and excellent location for activities in the area made for a memorable stay. We will be back.

Our stay at Rumbling Bald Cabin was great. Our family of 6 enjoyed the cabin and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Lots of areas to hike. Also, enjoyed having use of the resort passes.

The cabin was in great condition, clean with plenty of room with 3 bedrooms plus a downstairs "mancave" complete with a bar, fridge, another full-size bed, and a pool table. Had pool tournaments on 2 of our nights. In Rumbling Bald community with access to all the amenities; a lake with beach, mini golf, 2 championship golf courses, 2 restaurants, and a gym. 20-minute drive to Chimney Rock and the Town of Lake Lure with more restaurants, shopping, hiking trails, and a State Park. 10 out of 10 for us!

This was a fantastic place to stay. Chimney Rock was only 25 minutes away. My boyfriend and our three-year-old Corgi had a blast here. Asheville is so dog friendly! Thanks for everything and we will be back.

My daughter, grandson, husband, and I had a blast celebrating my 71st birthday here. Loved your house and so did our grandson and two Wienerdog pups. Went to the lake all day. My favorite was the lazy river and listening to my grandson laugh he enjoyed everything. Thank you so much.

Loved staying here! This was by far the best cabin we’ve been to. Only ~25 mins from Chimney Rock and we had a blast! Loved the location, especially how private and quiet it was. The resort was lovely as well. Great restaurants, sports, and other activities!

Had a lot of fun staying here with my family for my mother's birthday weekend. We loved the amenities and even relaxing on the porch at the end of the day. All beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and organized. They had a lot of items to utilize.

We had a great stay in the very comfy rental. Beautiful setting with beautiful porches front and back, a big kitchen, and a comfortable living area. The pool table or pub area downstairs was super fun, as were the passes to Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. We'll almost certainly be back,

Our stay at the mountain cabin was very comfortable and nice! We immediately felt at home and were in no hurry to explore the area until we had our own family time! The property was accommodating to our needs and then some! We would love a return stay sometime next year! Games, extra blankets, televisions, pool table, and comfortable furniture made it even better to name a few!

Loved sitting on the back porch where there was such quiet! We had a really heavy run on Sunday, and it was amazing sitting and listening to the rain... So peaceful. It was also such a pet-friendly place! The setup for the dogs (porch gates/fenced area) was just great!

A great place I relax and unwind. Close to great restaurants and wonderful amenities for everyone in our party. Internet speed was plenty fast for those who had to conduct business as well as for the kids to enjoy their games. Cell service was spotty but was expected. Will come again.

House was beautifully decorated and all of the rooms including bedrooms were large. Plenty of space to spread out as a group or if you want your own space. Access to Resort amenities are such a value-added treat and were used every day. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Absolutely loved it here. Also, my husband is in a wheelchair. Other than getting up the 5 steps outside, (my nephews assisted with that) everything else was fully accessible. Even the bathroom doors were wide enough for a wheelchair to get through. This was extremely Important to us. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous home.

Great location, a cozy atmosphere, dog-friendly, and a well-stocked cabin just outside of Rumbling Bald Resort. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin and found it was really convenient to get to the resort or back into town to grab groceries. The cabin was clean when we arrived, up-to-date appliances, comfy beds, and a fun basement with a pool table and TV for the kids. I'll definitely look to stay here again!

We had a lovely visit here at Lake Lure. We enjoyed the house and the location. The wildlife was abundant! The deer are very adventurous! Hopefully will be back another time.

My husband and some of our best friends met for a relaxing week at Lake Lure. Rumbling Bald was beyond perfect and made for a lovely home away from home! We had the best time relaxing on the porch swing and listening to the cicadas at night. We’ll definitely be back!! Thanks for the great memories.

"We’ve spent an amazing 5 days at Rumbling Bald Cabin. This trip will go down as one of our favorites. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four. Our 2 girls, ages 5 and 2, adored the twin room. My husband and I couldn’t get over how comfortable the beds were! We spent most days at Rumbing Bald Lake; did one day shopping in Chimney Rock. Took a pontoon boat out another day with Lake Lure Adventure Company. It was a blast. We ate at The Lake House twice and La Strada, both were great. And of course, Victory for breakfast one morning. All were wonderful. Thank you for extending your beautiful home to us. We have made some amazing family memories here for our girls. We hope to come back soon! "
