Cardinal's Cove features soaring ceilings and stunning architectural details. Cozy up by the wood fireplace in the living area and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV. A queen sleeper sofa on the main level provides another sleeping area, and a full bath on both floors makes everyone happy! Note that the lower level bedroom is only accessible down a flight of exterior stairs off the covered back deck.

The upscale cabin experience at Wild Turkey's Roost comes complete with rocking chairs and a wood fireplace. The one-room floor plan is ideal for a romantic escape or a family getaway. Note that the full bed in the loft, which is accessible only by ladder, is best suitable for the more adventurous guest. Older kids love it! After a fun-filled day, enjoy a good night's rest in the king-sized bed.

Relax and unwind at Blue Jay's Perch or Wren's Den, both luxury one-room cabins complete with a comfy pair of rocking chairs and beautiful hardwood floors. Like Wild Turkey’s Roost, Blue Jay’s Perch and Wren’s Den also include full beds in the lofts, accessible only by ladder, and plush king-sized beds. Wake up to the surrounding natural beauty and cool mountain breeze.

Woodpecker's Hollow offers stylish two-story living. Like Cardinal’s Cove, Woodpecker’s Hollow features a cozy wood fireplace and a flat-screen TV. A sleeper sofa on the main level provides another sleeping area and a queen bed in the loft offers even more room.

Last but certainly not least, enjoy plenty of space and stunning mountain views at Chickadee's Hatch. This cabin also contains a cozy wood fireplace in the living area and a flat-screen TV as well as a queen sleeper sofa on the main level. A full bath on each floor makes everyone happy!

Take your dog for an after-dinner walk down the creekside trail. Visit the playground, check out the shops, or just sit a while and listen to the birds sing. Designed to offer the convenience and simplicity of a timeless place, this peaceful community fosters a healthy quality of life where shops, dining, fitness, and recreation are all a short distance away. It's a smooth, scenic drive to either Black Mountain or downtown Asheville, both offering celebrated culinary and entertainment scenes. Popular attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore Estate are also easily accessible. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Black Mountain and is approximately 19 minutes to downtown Asheville.

Important Property Notes
• A visit to the Village of Cheshire provides an authentic mountain experience. Please be prepared to encounter rough terrain such as steep, unpaved trails and stone stairs when walking to your cabin from the parking area. Appropriate footwear and easy-to-carry luggage are strongly suggested.
• VIP: For any reservation with pets, please note that your reservation requires a pet fee of $75(plus tax) per dog. A maximum of 6 dogs are allowed on your reservation. Only 1 dog is permitted into each property at a time. Thank you.
• The bedroom at Cardinal's Cove is located on the lower level, which is only accessible by using a covered exterior set of stairs. If going outside to go between the main cabin and the bedroom level is an issue for your group, please ask a Vacation Planner about the different floor plans that are available at the Village of Cheshire Cabins.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• While the cabin is surrounded by trees, this cabin is centrally located in the Black Mountain area and traffic can be heard from the nearby road, particularly during peak commuting hours and summer season.
• The kitchenette at Wild Turkey's Roost & Blue Jay’s Perch comes equipped with an oven and stove top, mini-fridge, microwave drawer/mini-microwave, sink, coffee maker, and all appropriate dishes and cookware, however, it does not have a dishwasher.
• Wild Turkey’s Roost does not come equipped with a washer and dryer.
• The lower level of Blue Jay's Perch is used by Carolina Morning's housekeepers. The lower level entrance is on the opposite side of the house as the guest entrance, so you shouldn't notice them at all!
• Fireplace Out-of-Order. Please note the fireplace at Blue Jay's Perch is out of order and unavailable to guests, pending repair.
• There is a long, steep set of stone stairs at the entrance to Wren's Den.
• At the Chickadee’s Hatch cabin there is a short, sloped walking trail down to the cabin from the parking area.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
