Zipping Through the Mountains
For those adventure seekers traveling to the Blue Ridge Mountains, French Broad Ziplining is your haven! Based in Madison County - widely perceived as one of the most beautiful counties in all of Western North Carolina, French Broad Ziplining has a awesome course for adventure lovers of all skill levels. Carolina Mornings has teamed up with this fantastic local company to connect our guests with one of the best adrenaline inducing activities around - read on for more information about how you can experience the rush!
What's the Big Deal?
In a word, ziplining. It's one of our favorite spring/summer activities, and we couldn't be more excited that the season is finally upon us. We love sharing the joy and exhilaration of this event with newcomers to the area, so we seriously recommend that you steel your nerves and give it a try! Of course, if you're actually afraid of heights, this may not be the activity for you, but if you find yourself feeling just a bit hesitant, we suggest giving it a go... who knows? You may just fall in love!
Is It Safe?
French Broad Ziplining takes this sport very seriously, and safety is the absolute first priority. Leading industry professionals designed and built the course using state of the art safety equipment. Not only that, but every guide on the course has had extensive training and plenty of experience, so with them by your side every step of the way, you have nothing to fear!
What Should I Wear?
Dressing appropriately for the weather is key! In the early spring, our early mornings and evenings can be quite chilly, especially at a higher elevation with wind rushing against you. If you're planning on running through the course when the temperature is 70 or below, we recommend wearing pants and long sleeves. If it's warmer and you want to wear your summer clothes, dress more on the modest side as the full body harness wraps around your legs and shoulders. Finally, Close-toed shoes are required!
How Do I Sign Up?
Carolina Mornings and French Broad Ziplining have partnered up to make this super fun activity even more accessible to our guests! With our Mountain Discovery Pass, guests can arrange for one complimentary adult pass, thereby offsetting the cost of a family outing! For more information about what this pass provides, click here, or contact one of our knowledgeable and professional Vacation Planners.
