Addison Farms Vineyard
Addison Farms Vineyard is a family old vineyard and winery situated on 55 acres in Leicester, N - just 15 miles northwest of Asheville. Once a tobacco and cattle farm, the estate now grows six grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Montepulciano. Despite boasting a rich family history, the vineyard itself is relatively new to the area - the family grew their first grapes in 2009 on just an acre. Over the course of the past six years, the vineyard has grown to take up five acres - with plans to eventually spread across 10 acres. Eclectic and exciting events are scheduled to take place all summer at the vineyard, so visitors to the area will not want to pass up this fantastic area resource!
Burntshirt Vineyards is a family run company located in Hendersonville, NC. The estate occupies a truly unique position - two vineyards are situated on either side of the Continental Divide at some of the highest elevations on the East Coast. 27 acres of vineyard spans the beautiful Western North Carolina countryside. The combination of this beautiful setting with the high elevation lends creates an excellent landscape for growing an amazing crop of 19 European varietals and French-American hybrids. With musical events planned all summer, wine lovers will not want to pass on a visit to this amazing Estate.
Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards
As the first commercial vineyard in Hendersonville County, the growers at Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards are seasoned veterans in the business of family owned wineries and tasting rooms. The wines are made from 14 varieties of grapes grown in two locations at elevations of 2,300 and 3,000 feet - the highest in Hendersonville County. The tasting room is open year round and there are several scenic and comfortable options for those who want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the rich flavors of Estate Grown grapes.
