Carolina Mornings Spotlight: Top 3 Rainy Day Activities

Carolina Mornings Spotlight: Top 3 Rainy Day Activities
Rainy Spring days are as much a part of mountain life as banjos and hiking, and we've learned to never mourn a good rainstorm. If you're visiting the mountains and the clouds roll in, consider planning your day around one of our top 3 favorite rainy day activities!
1. Indoor Family Fun
Rainy days don't have to stand in the way of your family getting active and having fun! A new trampoline park that just opened in Asheville has you covered for hours of breathless play-time! Launch Trampoline Park, located in Arden (just a short drive from Downtown Asheville), has everything you need to create a memorable afternoon. 25,000 sq ft of connected trampolines form an enormous jumping surface for the whole family - and yes, you can jump off of the walls too! Trampoline basketball courts and dodgeball courts bring it to the next level of fun, so be sure to stop by this awesome park on your visit to the mountains!
Looking for more variety on your rainy day? Stop by Asheville Fun Depot for a full day of video games, laser tag, bumper cars, rock wall climbing, and more! This is a classic way to spend time with friends and loved ones and we think you'll find that the memories made here last forever. Located in Asheville, conveniently just off of I-40, Fun Depot has all of the necessary ingredients for a full day of fun and activity.
2. Movies and Brews
Sometimes the best way to enjoy a rainy day is to kick back, relax, watch a movie, and enjoy a pizza and a beer. Luckily, Asheville does all of that exceptionally well! Asheville Pizza and Brewing, located on Merrimon Ave in Asheville, boasts some of the best pizza and micro-brews in the city. They screen a wide variety of films - from 1980's classics to the blockbuster that hit the screens just a few months ago. We just love kicking back with our friends and loved ones in this intimate theater with our favorite pints and our favorite pies!
Had your heart set on a newer flick? The Carolina offers newly released films, hot, tasty food made with locally sourced ingredients, and a wide variety of local brews and ciders. Some of the showing rooms even have sofas for reclining while watching! Located in Asheville on Hendersonville Road, this theater will bring your watching experience to the next level of comfort and fun!

3. Cozy Up
We think lazy days are par for the course in a life well lived. Cozying up in a comfortable home away from home can create beautiful memories of time shared with loved ones, and we savor the opportunities to just settle in and enjoy the rain. Carolina Mornings has dozens of amazing homes in and around the Asheville area, each one as unique and beautiful as the next. For a mountain condo that boasts breathtaking long-range views, check out Come On Inn - a 3 bedroom, 3 level town home located in the Scenic Wolf community. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to create decadent, vacation-worthy meals while the lower level entertainment area (with pool table!) will provide for hours of good fun. Best of all, the pet friendly policy makes it so that the entire family can enjoy the vacation - Fido included!

Traveling with a larger group? Check out Dreams of Pisgah - a 5 bedroom stunner located just 20 minutes to Downtown Asheville. Boasting gorgeous mountain views, a rec room with a game table and dartboard, a fully equipped kitchen, and a 6-person hot tub, Dreams of Pisgah is the perfect home in which to relax and enjoy the rain.
