April Concerts in Asheville
Ah, the Spring is here and music is in the air! Asheville has several incredible music venues (not to mention all of the breweries, bars, cafes and restaurants that have a stage for live shows) so if you're traveling to the area, be sure to check the schedule for upcoming performances. April is the start of the music season for us, and the month of April has some great events scheduled. Read on for an introduction to some of the shows we're particularly excited for!

April 7th at The Orange Peel: They Might Be Giants
Brooklyn band They Might Be Giants will grace The Orange Peel stage on April 7th! By all accounts, TMBG puts on a spontaneous and explosive live show, so this is not one to miss! Doors open at 8:00 pm, show starts at 9:00 PM.
April 8th at Pisgah Brewing Company: Jennifer Knapp
Jennifer Knapp performs inside the Taproom at Pisgah Brewing Company on April 8th! Boasting a beautiful and intimate sound, Jennifer Knapp is definitely a singer/songwriter to know. Doors open at 8:00 PM, show starts at 9:00 PM.

April 19th at The Orange Peel: Hot Tuna Acoustic
Hot Tun Acoustic plays The Orange Peel on April 19th and you won't want to miss it! Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, of Jefferson Airplane fame, head this amazing blues band. Doors open at 7:00 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM.
April 26th at The US Cellular Center: The Alabama Shakes
The US Cellular Center hosts the Alabama Shakes on April 26th and we are giddy with excitement for the show! Swampy blues with powerful rock undertones define this fantastic quintet and if you haven't yet caught a live show, this would be the perfect opportunity. Dylan Leblanc opens, headlining show starts at 8:00 PM.
