Escape from your hectic world and immerse yourself in the secluded grandeur of Blue Moon Lodge, an eco-friendly mountaintop retreat. Total privacy on 14 acres of serenity and beauty will help you reconnect - with nature, friends and family, yourself. Let quiet and peaceful moments at Blue Moon Lodge rejuvenate your soul.
This custom, newly built home is located within a secure, gated high mountain community in Fairview - just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway and lively downtown Asheville with its galleries, shops, and restaurants. It is only a short drive to Lake Lure, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, and Hickory Nut State Park, for those who want to get out and explore. If you choose, settle in to play at Blue Moon the entire length of your stay and enjoy modern conveniences including Bose surround sound on the 52" family room TV, two i-Pod docks and satellite radio centrally wired to a built-in speaker system, a piano, WiFi, pool table, ping-pong table, and a wet bar.
Take your morning coffee enjoying the wooded splendor and long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from one of the private balconies off each of the three master suites. The main level master suite features an unusual and wonderful eucalyptus steam shower. The Owl's Nest Master Suite features a twin day bed and an additional twin mattress for families with small children. Step outside at your leisure and discover a trail on the property that winds past mature trees, over rock outcroppings, and through rhododendron groves. With luck, you may spot some of the local wildlife. Be sure to catch the stunning 360 degree views of the entire area from the green space just a short hike up from the front door. After a full day, sleep soundly on organic mattresses, high thread count linens, and cozy blankets.
Blue Moon Lodge is an earth friendly work of art. It was hand-crafted by local master artisans using sustainably harvested regional hardwoods, metals, and native stone to convey a sense of place and a connection to the natural world. This home is earthy and luxurious. Artistic features include two massive stone wood-burning fireplaces, soaring poplar logs, handmade tiles, custom crafted cabinets and stained glass, an amazing hand-carved front door, as well as many other beautiful details for you to discover. High quality, comfortable new furniture blends tastefully with hand chosen antiques throughout the home.
Blue Moon Lodge is a perfect gathering place for discriminating guests who enjoy their time together, yet appreciate private spaces as well. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Fairview and is approximately 30 minutes to downtown Asheville.
