This eclectic mountain city features art galleries, a burgeoning culinary scene, exciting entertainment venues and, of course, the awe-inspiring scenery of the Appalachian Mountains. With easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Sunset Haven is the perfect location to enjoy all that western North Carolina has to offer.
Or simply stay put, put your feet up and drink in the amazing show of colors from our wrap-around deck as the sun slowly sets behind the mountains. This peaceful three bedroom home easily sleeps six and sits on eight acres of forest with not a neighbor to be seen. The downstairs family room offers a 50” flat screen TV with DVD and surround sound. Wireless Internet, CD/iPod player in living room, Bose iPod player in upstairs bedroom, a washer/dryer, dishwasher and fireplace means all the comforts of home. A gazebo overlooks a landscaped field with a short walking path. Other trails are available throughout the Swannanoa area. Be sure to check out Warren Wilson College’s beautiful campus and River Trail just down the mountain. It’s a great place to get in a river swim! This Asheville vacation rental is located in Swannanoa and is approximately 20 minutes to downtown Asheville.
