Ring in the New Year in Asheville: Part II, The Restaurants

Ring in the New Year in Asheville: Part II, The Restaurants
We have a strong affinity for brunch, and there is no better holiday to enjoy a late morning meal than on the first day of the new year! Asheville has long been considered a foodie haven, so for those that seek to travel to these mountains to ring in 2017, you're in luck on the delicious food front. Read on for a few suggestions on where to enjoy the best culinary creations in WNC!

Early Girl
Early Girl Eatery is one of Asheville's most popular farm-to-table restaurants. Located on Wall Street in the heart of Downtown Asheville, this delightful spot boasts a variety of classic Southern dishes, all made from scratch. We particularly love this eatery because of how supportive is it to our local farming community - many of the ingredients are sourced directly from our local farmers!

Sunny Point Cafe
Sunny Point Cafe is another wildly popular eatery in Asheville. Located on the West Side, this family owned hot spot serves classic comfort food with an upscale twist morning, noon, and night. Sunny Point also boasts locally sourced ingredients - whether they come from the farmers in the area or from the Sunny Point Garden (located adjacent to the restaurant!), the scratch made dishes are responsible and delectable.

Biscuit Head
Biscuit Head is one of our absolute FAVORITE spots to grab a hearty, comforting breakfast or brunch. And on the first of the year, in the bitter cold January weather, that's exactly what we want! We love the environmentally committed approach that Biscuit Head takes in regards to the business - all beef is sourced from within 20 miles of the restaurant and the containers and foods are all recyclable or compostable. Plus, with locations in West Asheville and Biltmore Village, Biscuit Head is super accessible!

Stay Local
